3: Formal introductions

Chilled:

'Holy crap he's offering me a place to stay! I won't be homeless and I'll have a hot temporary roomate, it's a win win scenario!' is what anthony thought, but what came out of his mouth was "Oh my god YES! Thanyou thankyou thankyou! I promise I'll be the best temporary roommate you've ever had!"

"That's good but could you please put me down?" he heard Steven say, and then realized he had not only interrupted Stevens offer, but had also picked up the smaller man and spun him around. He qucikly released him and stepped back to a respectable distance. 'He must think I'm some weird guy who likes to interrupt people and spin them around now. Great first impression Anthony! Plus I'm still all sweaty and gross from the gym, and -- oh god now Mr. El Mousachio over there is giving me a weird look. Just great.' Anthony thought, and could feel his face turning crimson. Then he heard Steven laugh.

"What's so funny?" he asked anxiously, hoping he hadn't messed up his chances of having somewhere to stay the night. Although Steven looked more amused than disturbed, but you could never be too sure with people.

"Just thinking about how fun it's going to be bugging you." Steven replied teasingly. "Hey, I'm kinda cold do you wanna go somewhere till were allowed to go back in? Plus it's to early for me to be up without some coffee, and I'd like to get to know my new roommate." he added, yawing/shivering for effect.

"Sure, I even know a small shop nearby. Uhh, I can pay for yours if you want since you're helping me out, plus I'm pretty sure you don't have your wallet on you right now." Anthony replied, laughing at the last bit and at Stevens reaction.

"Shit!" Steven exclaimed, "I kinda forgot about that, or maybe I was just trying to repress the memories of just being in a blanket. Thanks though, I could really use that coffee." Steven laughed.

"My job? If I tell you, you have to promise not to make fun of it! It's actually hard work, kay?" Steven replied to Anthonys question. They had been at the coffee shop for a long while now, just talking and learning about eachother. They now knew things about eachother like last names, favorite colours, Anthonys dislike of bacon (which horrified the Canadian) and many other things. Now Anthony had gotten curious as to what Steven did for a living.

"Oh don't worry about that, my jobs the same way. Unless you're in the industry you never really know how hard it is. I feel your pain buddy." Anthony replied, trying to reassure his new sort-of-friend.

That made Steven smile before saying "Well I record edit and upload content onto the internet for a living. Or as most say, I play videogames for a living and should get a real job. What do you do?" he asked Anthony, looking slightly somber now.

"I'm a youtuber too! And I like to see it as creating entertainment for those in need, I mean it does help some of my viewers." He replied trying to cheer Steven up. "We could totally do a collab or something! Except all my equiptments in my appartment..." he trailed off with a sigh before adding "My channels CriousGamers or Chilled, what's yours?"

"ZeRoyalViking, and I think I've heard of you before! I think you've played with someone I know. And I still have all my equiptment so we could record something and upload it to both our channels. I have quite a few multiplayer games. Wanna play some mario cart or something?" Steven asked, leaning across the table towards him with a bit of excitement.

"Sure, I think we've been here long enough that they might be done now. Lets head back and check." Anthony replied while getting up and grabbing his coat off the back of his chair. An action that was mirrored by Steven with his blanket.

On the walk back they kept talking, but this time about their channels and all the projects they were working on. They still couldn't figure out who they both knew. Eventually they reached the appartments and Steven went to talk to the moustached man, and seeming to get an all clear as he waved Anthony over and both entered the building.

On the second floor Steven stopped infront of a door just like all the others. "Welcome to my home!" he said, unlocking the door and pushing it open to reveal his apartment.
