"Of course I love her." Danny said as if he were discussing the weather.

"Then why aren't you with her trying to talk it out?" Vlad replied with a raised eyebrow.

"She's furious with me so she might break up with me plus she locked herself in her room as far as I'm aware." Danny grumbled crossing his arms over his chest sliding down the chair a bit.

"But wouldn't you still go and try to talk to her and give it a shot before you decide that she would reject you." Vlad said putting a hand to his chin covering his mouth looking like he was thinking. Though Vlad was in all reality hiding a smirk that he was trying to fight off of his face.

"She would just get even more pissed at me so what's the point?"

"Is it just that fact or is there something else you need to admit."

"There's nothing to admit," Danny mumbled.

"Of course there never is with you is there? Though I'm sure you're forgetting I won't tell her or a single soul what you tell me, or I can even pretend I never heard it if that's better~" Vlad watched as Danny shifted a bit while he seemed to debate something in his mind. Then Danny's shoulders sagged a bit.

"I-I guess I'm just tired, tired of always having to hear her yell at me then give me the silent treatment. And it feels like I'm doing more than her to contribute to our relationship. She doesn't even try to try out the things that I like, but I'm willing to for her. Plus ever since our relationship started, I feel like I have to rush in order to get rid of the ghosts. I feel like I'm supposed to drop everything and go to her when she wants me to, but sometimes I can't and I feel like she doesn't understand that I guess I just feel more drained than usual. And the fact that I thought we would be great together we already know all that we need to know about each other since we've been best friends since kindergarten, but it feels so tiring like she's changed when we started to date. I don't know what to do I guess."

Danny scratched the back of his neck a bit as he finished before Vlad spoke up. "That's the problem with your relationship."

"What?"

"The problem is you know each other better than others may know you. You both expected a change in your relationship if you two started to date, but you already knew each other since kindergarten. There's nothing new to learn about each other so nothing new will be brought up."

Danny cocked his head to the side a bit. "Are you saying I should be dating someone who isn't my friend?"

"Exactly someone who you have things to learn about, and someone who has things to learn about you."

"But what about Sam?"

"She doesn't deserve you simple as that." Vlad watched Danny more intensely.

Danny looked at Vlad strangely "If she 'doesn't deserve me' then who does Vlad?" Danny rolled his eyes.

"Someone who won't be mad at you for going ghost hunting." Vlad said in a matter of fact tone with a small smirk tugging at his lips.

"The only person in the world who wouldn't get mad from me ghost hunting is someone who is..." Danny paused looking away from Vlad and at the floor before he finished his sentence. Someone who is like me. There was only one person who was like Danny was... Danny looked back up to Vlad only now seeing the strange look in the older halfa's eyes. "What's the problem Little Badger? Someone who is, what?" Vlad asked.

Danny snapped out of his thoughts of the older halfa. "Someone who is non existent." Danny huffed out looking away from Vlad feeling his face warm up, Danny prayed he wasn't blushing.

"Are you sure you can't think of anyone. Or have you thought of someone and your not telling me?~" Vlad asked with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

"I-I'm sure, b-but if I d-do find someone I-I'm sure I'll be ab-able to tell th-them," Danny stuttered out, "I sh-should probably get g-going though to s-see if S-Sam has cooled d-down." Danny lamely stuttered out an excuse.

"Well then, I hope it goes alright and I hope to see you again another time Little Badger.~" And with that Danny quickly transformed into Phantom, and flew out of Vlad's home and made his journey to Amity Park to look for Sam in order to talk to her maybe even break up with her.
