His Injured Hand

SURBHI'S POV

I was already frustrated by this drama. I am getting late for the college and all this had to happen today only. Aaaarggghh. 

And that Mr. Whatever; what he thinks of himself. He behaves as if he's king of some palace.

Huh ! But What Surprised me was He said sorry to me!!

Seconds before he was blaming me for all this and the next instant he said sorry.

Strange lunatic man !!

"Surbhi ! Come let's go. We are very late today" I was brought out from my thoughts by Anjali.

"Yeah " I replied

"Surbhi ! You really don't know who he was ?  I mean whole freaking world knows who he is and you just fought with him. How handsome and charming he was looking " She dreamily said

"Shutup Anjali . Didn't you see how he misbehaved and who the hell is he that every now and then you are just talking about him?" I asked angrily

"First of all he didn't misbehave from start! You were the one who called him blind. Didn't you?" Anjali questioned raising her brow!

Indeed she was right. I was the one who said this, but it was not my mistake.

Or was it !!

"And secondly you are asking who he is ? He's India's most popular, young and successful..." She was blabbering before which my eyes widened !

"Oh my god. What happened" I shrieked looking at the same man who was injured badly !!

"Surbhi.." Anjali was going to speak something before which we looked in front.

 The metro came.

Great! What a luck!

I can't leave him like this instead of having a bad start with him because it will be inhuman and against my principles.

"Surbhi ! Metro has come.What to do now ?" Asked Anjali

"Anjali we'll grab next metro. Mr...errr whatever your name is, Just come and sit here " I said pointing towards the bench.

" Its okay.. You are already late and you'll get more late. Just go I'll manage and call a doctor. No need to show this concern " he rudely spoke.

Is he always so rude !!

How are people even tolerating him!

"Mr....aregghh...What's your name..I even don't know your name..I am finding it difficult to call you without any name Mr.Nameless!!! " I snapped and the girl behind him hung her mouth low as if I had said something wrong.

His girl friend! With pounds of concealer and make up!

Okay Surbhi, stop judging!

And then something happened for the first time in these 20 minutes after all this chaos.

He chuckled and his dimples were visible.

He looked good while laughing.

Ughhh..what I am thinking.

" Mahir Maheshwari " said Anjali and that man in unison.

Heard this name before... Mahir... Mahes... Shit! Shit! Shit!

He is THE MAHIR MAHESHWARI.

The topmost business tycoon of India and 6th most successful business tycoon of the whole freaking world. 

Shit..what I have done..I said him blind..insane creature and what not..

Well, he deserved it. He also said me so much!!

"Ma.. Mahir Mah... Maheshwari" I stammered and I saw him smirking.

Why the hell am I stammering!

But all this thoughts vanished when I again saw his hand.

I've to do first aid as soon as possible.

"Emm..Mr Maheshwari how did you get injured" I asked in my professional tone.

"He got hurt from that iron piece coming out from the wall" said the girl behind him.

Why was she answering when I am asking him.

Well, why not ! She's his girlfriend after all.

"Anjali pass me the emergency kit from my bag" I said and she handed me the kit.

 I cleaned the wound, applied ointment and started doing the dressing. 

"Mr Maheshwari just take an injection of tetanus" I said in between doing the dressing

"Thankyou Ms. Surbhi" he thanked

He knows there's a word called thankyou too! Wow!!

"No need of thankyou Mr. Maheshwari. It's my duty" I replied

He looked at me questioningly!!

" Dr. Surbhi Birla " I introduced

"Oh ! So I was thinking right because the way you gave instructions to me and asked me to take an injection..Was purely accent of a doctor" He said in his business casual tone.

Am I in a business meeting already !

"Done" I mumbled completing the dressing.

"Thankyou Sur...Dr. Surbhi" he said and I nodded.

I too don't need to talk to you nicely if you do the same to me!!!

Tit for tat!!

"And sorry" he added 

Did I hear something wrong!

"Huh" I looked at him confused

"Actually.. The way I behaved with you was really very rude. I shouldn't have..." he was saying when I cut him off in the middle

"No ! Actually I must be sorry..I shouldn't have said you all what I said...I am sorry Mr Maheshwari" I mumbled

And I myself don't know why I said this!!

"Surbhi!! Metro is coming. Come fast" said Anjali

"See! Because of me you again got late" he told

"No no it's fine. You should also rush to your destination" I said

"No now its fine. The situation for which I was running have been handled" he told

"Oh okay. I'll go " I said and he nodded.

I and Anjali entered metro. We were really late for college today.

Due to me Anjali is also suffering. I don't know what will happen in college now.

"Its okay. We'll manage" Assured Anjali reading my thoughts.

"Hope so Anjali. This reports have to be submitted to Dr.Bhatia as soon as possible otherwise you know we'll have to face the severe consequences" I sighed

"Nothing will happen Surbhi. Just relax" Anjali said and I nodded. 

I'm the another name of panic! Now can I relax!
