Is The Day Really That Bad !!

Surbhi's POV

Metro stop came and we both came out of the metro station and headed towards college. I was hell nervous. We were really very late. I hope everything will be fine.

"Surbhi you really didn't know Mahir Maheshwari?" She asked me.

"Anjali ! I have heard his name. I didn't see him by face anytime " I said

"Don't you follow him on social sites !" She asked a bit shocked

"Seriously Anjali. Why will I follow him. I didn't and I don't want to okay and you saw how rude he was like as if he's God and that girlfriend of his, she was just standing like an idiot not doing anything. A dumb idiot got a dumb idiot. Wow !! what a match it is" I mocked

"Is someone getting jealous? "Anjali smirked

"Oh hello! Jealous my foot. Why would I be jealous of that person whom I even don't know" I said

"Oh ! So why did you do the dressing" Anjali asked smirking again

"God Anjali ! As a doctor it is our moral duty to serve the person who is injured or ill. Isn't it ? Or isn't that what we promised to ourselves when we took the pledge. If at his place, there would've been anyone else or even that girlfriend of his I would have done the same" I replied her

"Yeah yeah fine. You always have an explanation for everything" said Anjali

"Now if you are done with your book on Mahir Maheshwari then shall we run in the class to submit the reports." I asked irritated like hell.

"Yeah..Hope that sir doesn't scold us" she said

"Fingers crossed" I replied as we both move towards the lab!

"Oh welcome Both of you. Aren't you a bit early" Mocked Mrs.Roy , our lab in charge .

"We're sorry mam. We were stuck badly at metro station" said Anjali

"So. When you knew that today is no private vehicle day then why didn't you start early from your home." She scolded

"Mam we're really sorry. This is our first and last mistake mam. Our reports on MTP are ready. Please take our reports." I pleaded 

"Girls if it was in my hands I would've done this but your reports have to be signed by Dr Bhatia. Your obstetrics professor"said Mrs. Roy

"Oh no ! Now what will we do.Mam please help us. Please " I  pleaded again

"Sorry Surbhi and Anjali.He left before two hours to the hospital due to an emergency delivery. And all the reports have been sent to him and you know right how strict he is if it comes to this type of work." She replied

"Mam there would be any way please help us. Please" asked Anjali

"See ! He might be in the hospital. So you can go there and try..but he's really a hard nut to crack" She told

"Come Anjali let's go. It's the last option. Moreover we've to go there only for our duties " I said

"What will happen now? " asked Anjali concerned
