SURBHI'S POV

It was 4 am and I was not at all sleepy.

It's my engagement day after all.

In the morning only Anjali and Priya would come with the outfit that I chose yesterday. I, Anjali and Priya went to the designer yesterday and after trying on some 50 outfits, Finally I chose the one and that one was perfect for me.

I called Siddarth also. He was so super excited. I told him to come now to India but due his Project he couldn't. I was a bit sad but he told me that he'll attend my marriage... Of course he has to otherwise I'll kill him.

Come on Surbhi sleep at least for four hours idiot..

My alarm rang at 8. Arrghh. Now I'm feeling sleepy.

"Surbhi girl wake up. It's your engagement day. " came mom's voice.
I woke up in an instance.

Yes... It's my engagement day.

MY ENGAGEMENT.

" Yes mom... Coming in sometime " I said

I bathed and wore my Tshirt and Pjs.And went downstairs.

" Morning Surbhi. " wished Deepak bhaiya

" Morning bhai. " I replied an hugged him

" Finally you'll go away. I'm so happy " he teased

" What. Papa. See what he's saying " I whined everyone laughed.

"He's just teasing you Surbhi" said Mom

"He always do so" I replied

"Okay now come. I've made your favorite breakfast today" said mom

"Wow. Thankyou mumma" I grinned hugging her

"Our Surbhi is getting engaged today and after a month she'll be married. See time flies so fast..it looks as if some days before she was a kid roaming here and there in the home and now after some days she'll go away from here" said mom getting senty.

"Mumma..I'm here only for the rest month and then also I'm not going Abroad, I'm in Indore only. I'll meet you very frequently " I replied smiling.

Only my soul knows how was  I feeling right now but I know if even a tear escapes my eye..mumma will start crying and I can't see that.

"See mom..madly in love girl..she wants to go from here as soon as possible" Deepak bhaiya teased again

"Eat your breakfast and go to office bro" I told munching on my breakfast.

"Idiot. Today's your engagement.. If I'll go who'll look after all the arrangements " he said hitting me lightly on my head

"Ouch..I forgot"I laughed 

"Okay. Surbhi...Have you talked to designer " asked mom

"Yes Masi..I did it before sometime. Her outfit will reach here at 3 pm." Said di

"And what about Getting her ready " asked Mom

"Mom. I've called the makeup artist. She'll be here by 6"  Keerti bhabhi told

"What. It's just engagement. I don't want to get into the hands of these beauticians. Bhabhi,you do it" I said

"Surbhi. Idiot. It's your engagement...in front of whole damn world..." said Neeti di

"What whole damn world. It's just our friends and family. !" I asked

"GOD..Surbhi.. you're getting married to Mahir Maheshwari and you're daughter of one of the best industrialist of MP. Ask dad how he handled Media in our wedding" said Keerti bhabhi and everyone chuckled.
