THEA'S POV...

"Thea, I told you. I'll be alright." Leo held my hand after he parked his car in front of our mansion.

"B-But what if—"

"Even if Uncle Taehyung's gonna point a gun at me, that wouldn't stop me from coming to you, doll. Don't worry. I'm sure, Uncle Taehyung's gonna like me. I mean... we've never been into bad terms." Leo explained to me.

I just slowly nodded at him and he motioned me to come out of the car. So I did and we held hands walking inside the mansion.

I couldn't even imagine my heart could race faster at this moment like they're gonna burst but I couldn't care less.

Dad is like... He's lowkey strict but Ilhe never failed to spoil me so much. But I can still imagine him getting angry at me. I mean, Mom can be really scary when she's angry but Dad is on another level.

"Babe, calm down. I can hear your heart beating so fast from here." Leo chuckled at me.

I just gave him a tight lip smile and was about to talk when someone beat me to it.

"Oh! Your here!" Mom greeted us and immediately gave me a tight hug before giving Leo one too.

"Your Dad's been waiting for you in the living room! Why don't you two go see him?" Mom smiled widely at us, making me pour a line of sweat on my forehead.

I gulped before nodding at her and finally walking our way to the living room.

As soon as we arrived at the living room, we found Dad sitting in the single sitter sofa with his head resting on the back of his palm and his elbow on top of the arm rest.

"D-Dad... You called?" I got his attention as he slowly looked up to us, meeting his piercing gaze.

"Thea." My Dad's deep serious voice wemt through my skin that I got goosebumps.

Those deadly voice... The last time I heard my Dad with a tone like that was when I broke his black credit card.

"Y-Yes, Dad?" I responded.

"I need a good minute to talk to Leo. Will you leave us alone for now?" He asked in a calm voice but still seems intimidating.

I gulped and I tightened my grip on Leo's hand. I can also hear Leo's heavy breathing and dripples of sweat on the temple of his forehead.

I hesitated, "I'm not leaving..."

"Stop being stubborn, Thea." My Dad glared at me.

"Doll, it's okay. Just go outside and wait for me." Leo whispered to me and gave me a smile.

"But—"

"I'll be fine." He cut me off and smiled at me. He held my hand and gave me the look of assurance.
