LEO'S POV...
I gripped the steering wheel harder and stepped on the accelerator, going straight to Rubyjane's house. Wearing a suit while driving is really not my thing. It's tight and I can't move properly.
I arrived at her house in no time and I dialed her number to tell her that I was already waiting for her.
Her front door opened and no kidding, she looks stunning. I went out of my car to accompany her.
"Wow! You look like a full course meal! You should wear suits more often." She pointed at me as soon as I stood by my car.
"You look good too." I gave her a smile as I open the car door for her.
"Feels like we're going to prom and Thea's not your date again." She chuckled at me as she entered my car.
I just shook my head amusingly at her and went to the driver's seat to finally make our way to Hyung's party.
"Remember. When I finally get to talk to Thea, snatch her from me. And that's the moment you do your job. Do it right." She said for the nth time.
"Yeah, yeah. You said it a hundred times already." I said to her.
"I really have a strong feeling that your hyung is gonna do something tonight." Rubyjane squinted her eyes as she sprays perfume all over her body.
"Of course. It's his birthday." I said in a 'duh' tone.
She rolled her eyes at me, "You're hopeless. I don't know why I'm on your side in the first place."
"Because you believe in me?" I anwered unsurely.
She chuckled, "Not even a bit."
"Because you like my brother?"
"Whoa whoa whoa there, Tiger! He's waaaay far from my type. I mean, who would like his dry unshaved lips? Not me." She defended making my eyes widen a bit.
His lips?!
"Wait what?!—"
"Wait what?!—"
We both said at the same time. She looked at me blankly and so did I. I even stepped on the breaks because we've arrived just in time already.
"Hold up! Did something happen between you and—"
"Hold that thought. We're here. You have to focus. Tonight is not about me, it's about you." She cuts me off and started tightening my tie, arranging my collar and fixing my hair like a mom.
"You ready?" She smiled at me and before I could even answer, she already pulled me inside our mansion.
Familiar faces are already wandering around our hall, holding their glasses of wine and some are just chatting. Me and Rubyjane found Jam and Chaeyoung sitting in the corner.
