CHAPTER 29: "PLAN"

THEA'S POV...

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" he spat. I was processing things but got myself back to reality immediately.

"S-Sure. What is it, Oppa?" I asked him.

"Alone?" He bit his lips, feeling a little embarrassed.

I don't know why my head turned to Leo, looking at him like I need an approval.

"Sure." I nodded and was about to follow Oppa when Leo grabbed my wrist. I looked back at him, raising my eyebrow and giving him the 'what's wrong' look.

He was about to say something but he just chose to shut his mouth and squeezed my wrist before letting go. The warmth of his palm stayed on my wrist that I didn't even think I'd crave for.

I gave him a smile, "I'll be back."

"I know. I'll be here waiting." He smiled back.

I followed Jeongsan Oppa to his car, just a good distance away to Leo for him not to hear our conversation. He can still see us tho.

"Thea... I-I..." Jeongsan oppa started scratching the back of his head.

"What is it, Oppa?" I asked him.

It's a bit unusual for me to not feel flattered or overwhelmed by Jeongsan Oppa's presense anymore unlike before. Maybe because we've had a quarrel before and I've lost some interest because he told me to stay away.

"I'm sorry for that night. I shouldn't have told you those harsh things." He said.

Oh, is this why he's being sweet to me? Because he wants to compensate me? How did God sent this perfect gentleman to me?

"N-No, Oppa. I should've told you sooner." I spat while fidgeting my fingers, feeling guilty too.

"But really... Don't do it ever again. Please. Not with him." Jeongsan Oppa begged.

I lowered my head, not knowing what to answer. I can just say yes right away but I can't. Something inside me is stopping me.

"I will." I muttered in a low voice.

I heard Oppa sigh and looked down at me, "Tomorrow's gonna be my birthday. Wear something pretty, okay?"

"Even if I wear a garbage bag, I'd still look pretty." I rolled my eyes at him with sass.

He chuckled, "You are."

His words made my cheeks heat up a little and I felt my insides jumping or should I say, butterflies?

"Take care of yourself, okay? See you tomorrow." He smiled and hoped inside his car, leaving me smiling from ear to ear.

I waved goodbye as he drove off and left. Jeongsan Oppa's finally noticing me and I feel flattered.

"Thea! Let's go!" I heard Leo calling my name so I turned to him and smiled too.

Leo... He makes me feel different, but in a good way. He makes me feel... complete as a woman. And it's satisfying. Being his friend is beyond being his girlfriend.

Rubyjane, can I just not pick?

I entered Leo's car and he started driving immediately. Then silence emitted the whole space. I can tell that an intimidating energy is coming from him.

"L-Leo..." I called and he responded with a hum. Why am I stuttering anyway?

"Nothing." I muttered in a small voice because to be honest, I don't fucking know why I called his name in the first place.

I just felt like I needed attention.

"Nothing? You're blushing for no reason." He chuckled at me.

My eyes widened at him and cupped my face, trying to hide my blush. What is happening to me all of a sudden?!

"I-I was... I-I was just gonna ask you if what happened between you and Oppa." I stuttered.

He went silent for a bit but slowly curved his lips up in a smile, "We're okay."

"You were about to kill each other earlier with those glares. Is it about what we did? It's all my fault, isn't it?" Guilt washed over my face.

"Thea, we did nothing wrong. And don't worry... Everything's gonna be alright." And he suddenly puts his palm on my left thigh.

A small gasp escaped my lips as soon as I felt his warm large hands on top of my thighs! I couldn't breath normally at all! I'm actually holding my breath!

He noticed my flustered face and I felt his hands leaving my thighs, sliding away from my skin.

"S-Sorry I didn't mean to..." He stuttered.

I gave him a tight lip smile, "It's okay."

His hands, his skin, his touch. Why do I want them so bad?

LEO'S POV...

I just finished taking a shower after driving Thea back in their mansion and now, I'm talking to Rubyjane over the phone.

"What?! Holding her thigh is not a move. It's what perverts do, you dickhead. She's totally freaked out." She exclaimed over the phone.

"I couldn't think of any! And Hyung kept interrupting us in the first place! I even took her to our favorite Ice cream shop but Hyung suddenly showed up. I don't even know if it's coincidental but I have a strong feeling it's not. I mean, only me and Thea knows that place." I said to her.

"Unless, Thea told someone... And I know exactly who that someone is." Rubyjane spat back.

My brows furrowed, "Who?"

"Chaeyoung. She's on your Hyung's side. And maybe just like us, they're teaming up." Rubyjane answered.

"Why does Chaeyoung hate me?" I asked again.

Rubyjane sighed on the other line, "Chaeyoung is a hopeless romantic bitch, Leo. She's into guys who have this prince-like profile and obviously, you're the opposite."

"Opposite?" I furrowed my brows.

"Okay, let me put it simpler for you. You are a boyfriend material. You're just that. You're not a type of guy who can commit for a longer relationship. You're that type." Rubyjane answered.

I'm a boyfriend material and I'm scared of commitments? Is that what she means?

"Wait... You think, I'm just gonna leave her after a short period of relationship?" I asked again.

"Yes."

"Noona... I know you hate guys being cheesy but Thea is the one. She's the one for me. I can't live a day without her. She makes me whole, complete, everything! I-I won't give her up. Not a chance." I said in a stern voice.

Thea is my first love, first and last. And I want it that way. I don't know how she did it but I've already fallen a thousand feet underground for her from the outerspace.

I've never been this dumb for a girl. God, I'm so hopeless!

There was a minute of silence from the other line after I said those to Rubyjane until she cleared her throat.

"Okay... That's it. I have a plan."
