Ashanti looked at me and laughing but then she just froze.
"Hey are you ok " I asked waving my hand in her face
"No I'm not why are you just now telling me this are you kidding me I feel sorry for losing your mom but you can't tell me you have feelings for me " she said getting up and letting go of my hand
"Wait just here me out please " I said as I grabbed her hand again
"I just - " she said getting out of my grip but I cut her off
"I always liked you ok listen when you and Nelly broke up I thought to myself this is my time to try to get into a relationship with you but I guess that didn't work because you just kept putting me back into the friend zone nod now that I see you with nelly you never gave nobody else the time of day but him" I said but this time she just walked backed to her car and didn't say a word and left . I was home thinking to myself when I heard keys rambling in the door so I got up and went to go unlock it for Ashanti.
"Hey Baby I heard you this morning on the radio " I said as I gave her peace on the lips
"You did " she said as she put her bag down on the table an doubt her jacket on the jacket hanger .
"Yeah you was talking about our relationship and your music I'm proud of you shutting him down when he kept asking questions about me and your relationship " I said as I sat back on the couch
"I know he was so annoying I was telling myself don't loose your cool keep it classy " she said
"So what else happened today " I asked her but she went into a deep thought about something .
"Ashanti!!!!" I yelled

"Oh um Jeremih mom died and I felt sorry for him and I went to confront him and then I left " she said walking over to the couch and sitting on my lap .
"How he doing is he taking it well " I asked her putting my hands around her waist .
"No he was crying first time I ever seen him cry in a long time "she said
"That's sad we should go check on him " I said picking her up off my lap
"No we should um just wait a while ok babe " she said pushing me back down
"Ok " I said I knew she was heading something I just didn't want to say it anything about it because I'm sure she Is going to tell me so I'm just gonna have to wait and see.
