"Why do I always have to catch you guys being all lovey."
We both jump, and turn around to see Chase and Noen.
"Ew." Noen said.
"They do this all the time." Chase rolled his eyes.
"Stop being so jealous." Lexie said, grabbing another pack of rice cakes.
"WE DON'T NEED THAT MANY RICE CAKES!" Chase yelled.
"THEY HAVE CARMEL ONES OKAY?!" Lexie yelled back at him.
"Back off Chase." I say.
"Chase stop being so rude!" Noen yelled.
"Yeah Chase, listen to Neon." Lexie said pointing to him.
Noen rolled his eyes at the name.
"I just wanted rice cakes.." she said, looking down.
"It's okay baby, lets go get our rice cakes." I say.
She stuck her tongue out at Chase, as we walked to the self checkout.
"Jaden?" She spoke up.
"Yeah bebe?"
"If we ever have a house together, can we get a dog?" She asks.
"Y-You want a house together?" I stutter.
"Yeah.." she whispered.
"Wait you want a dog?" I ask her.
She smiles.
"Yes! Dogs are great support animals." She laughed.
"I don't give good support?" I look down.
"You give great support, and you always will." She said.
"Why do you guys take so long?"
"Did you get the rice cakes?!"
I turn around to see Bryce and Tayler.
Tayler ran up to lexie and took a bag.
"CARMEL RICE CAKES?!" Tayler yelled.
"I KNOW!!" Lexie yelled back.
They both jumped up and down.
"Are you finished?" Bryce said.
Lexie rolled her eyes.
"We can do whatever we want." Tayler said.
"C'mon, everybody else is already in the car." Bryce says.
We pay for the food, and start to walk out the door.
"Excuse me." Somebody says.
Me and Lexie turn around.
"Hello." Lexie said.
A tall boy stood in front of us.
I look at him up and down.
"Whats your name?" He asked her, coming closer to her.
Oh hell no.
"Lexie.." she said, moving backwards.
"Josh." He said with a wink.
"So, what are you doing tonight?" He asked her.
She stood behind me.
"Hey, step back." I say.
"What the hell is going on?"
Lexie turns around, I keep my eye on Josh.
"Don't tell me what to do." Josh said.
Bryce came behind Lexie.
"What's your deal?" Bryce asked the boy.
"None of your business." He said, pushing me out the way, and standing in front of Lexie.
He grabbed her wrist.
"Don't touch me!" She yelled, trying to get away from the grip.
I pushed him.
"Get your hands of her." I say.
He stumbled back.
"Why do you care." He rolled his eyes.
"Because, I'm her boyfriend." I say.
"Yeah yeah whatever." He said.
He went around me and came back to Lexie.
"So, what do you say princess?"
She rolled her eyes.
"I'm not your princess." She said, shoving him.
She pushed him so hard he fell to the ground.
"Damn." Bryce whispered.
"Stay away from me." Lexie said.
I could barely breath.
"Baby are you okay?" I ask her, putting both of my hands on the side of her face.
"Yes Jaden, I'm okay." She smiled.
I kiss her forehead.
"Okay let's leave before he gets up." Bryce said.
Lexie looks at the boy, still on the ground.
"I doubt it." She laughed.
"Okay then, lets go." I say.
We start walking to the door, until I heard a familiar voice.
"Jaden?"
Me and Lexie turn around.
"Ah shit." Bryce said.
"Mads." I say.
Lexie stares into her eyes.
Mads walks up to us.
"Oh, your still with..her." She said, rolling her eyes.
"Of course." I say, grabbing Lexie's hand.
Her hand starts to shake.
"How have you been?" Mads asked me.
"Fine." I say.
"Great." She replied.
"So, what's your name again?" She asked Lexie.
"Lexie." She said.
"Right." She says.
Bryce came up, and stood next to Lexie.
"Hey Bryce." She said.
Bryce put on a fake smile.
"So, how are you after we kicked you out?" Lexie asked, with a smirk.
"I'm doing just fine." Mads said.
She kept her eyes on me.
I squeezed Lexie's hand.
"Well it was nice seeing you guys." She said, winking at me.
"Yep, great seeing you too. Bye!" I say, rushing out the door.
"I hate that bitch." Lexie whispered.
"I do too." I say.
I reach down in my pocket to grab my phone, I feel a piece of paper.
I take it out, and stop walking.
"What's wrong?" She asked me.
"You might want to look at this." I say.
She walks over to me and takes the paper.
"Her phone number.." she whispered.
I look down at my feet.
She ran inside.
"Lexie? Where are you going?"
I run after her.
"There's her ass." She says.
"Hey Mads!" She yelled.
She turned around.
"What do your ass want." She said, crossing her arms.
I stay far away from them.
Lexie tips the paper into pieces, and hands it to her.
"I don't think Jaden will need use of that." She said.
Mads scoffed.
"I'll give it another month, he will be banging on my door for me." She said, crossing her arms.
