"Oh hell no." Lexie said.
"God damn it." I say.
"Hi Jaden!" She says.
I roll my eyes.
"Hi Mads." I say back to her.
"I'm going back to the car." Lexie says, turning around.
"Stay here." I say, pulling her back.
"Why are you here." She says to Lexie.
"I'm here to pick up my dog." She says.
Another lady come up behind her.
"Are you Lexie?" She says.
Lexie smiles.
"Yes I am." She responded.
"Why are you asking for her?" Mads asked the lady.
"She's adopting a puppy." She said.
Mads jaw dropped.
"WHAT?!" She yelled.
"BAHAHA!" Noen and Tayler laughed in the back.
I take the collar out my pocket, it says the dogs name on it. In the shape of a bone.
"Here you go." The lady says, passing a small brown dog.
She takes her carefully.
"Hi cutie.." she says, patting her head.
"No not Charity!" Mads yelled.
"Jamie." I say, putting the collar around her neck.
"Ugh!" Mads yelled, as she stomped away.
Noen and Tayler continues to laugh.
"I'm sorry about her, do you know each other?"
"Let's just say she did something to me, that put me in a dark place." Lexie says.
"Are you related to her?" I ask.
"I'm her mother." She says.
Lexie snickered.
"Oh." I say.
"Well I'm very sorry, I will talk to her. I know you will take great care of her." Mads mother says, petting the dog one last time.
"We will, thank you so much." Lexie says, as we walk away.
She rushed to the car.
"Can you hold her Noen?" She asked him.
"Yes m'am." He said, carefully taking her.
She climbed to the back of the car, then he passed her Jamie.
I follow her to the car, she stays silent.
"You okay baby?" I ask her.
She wipes her eyes and turns around, her eyes are red..and watery.
"Baby what's wrong?" I ask her again, putting my hands on her cheeks.
She sniffed.
"Yeah, I'm okay." She says, looking down at our new pet.
"No your not, please tell me what's wrong." I say.
She lets out a sigh.
"When I told Mads mom about what she did, about how she put me in a really dark place." She started.
"Yeah.." I whispered.
"Just remembering, what she did to me..just hurts.." she said.
"Baby.."
"Everything she said, her words, her actions.." She says.
"And everyday it gets worse and worse and I just can't take it anymore!" She yelled.
"I don't wanna life like this! I don't wanna be involved with drama! I wanna be happy!" She yelled.
"I wanna be happy, with you." She says, tears roll down her face.
"You will be, I'm sorry this is happening to you baby. I wish you told me sooner." I say, placing a kiss on the top of her head.
"You know, Mads threatened me?"
My eyes widened.
"SHE DID WHAT?!" I yelled.
I climbed out of the car.
"Jaden where are you going?" She asked.
"Noen hold Jamie." She says.
"Yessir." He says.
She follows me to the porch.
I bang on the door.
"Hello." Her mother says.
"Wheres Mads?" I ask her.
"Upstairs, in her room." She says.
"Thanks." I say.
"Wait Jaden!" Lexie yelled, but she didn't try to run after me.
I bust down the door, Mads sits there, on her bed.
She turned around, and smirked.
"Came back for me?" She said with a wink.
"Not that kinda way." I say.
"What the hell have you been saying to her?" I ask.
"To who?" She questioned.
"LEXIE!" I yelled.
"Oh, that mistake." She said with a scoff.
"We've been talking here and there." She says.
"About what." I say.
"Oh nothing really." She says, opening her phone.
I snatch it from her.
"Hey give that back-"
"Shh." I shush her.
I go to Instagram and go into her dms, her recent it Lexies.
When I open it, my heart aches.

I read it in my head.
"Son of a bitch." I say, throwing her phone on the bed.
I start to walk out the room.
"Where are you going?" Mads asked me.
"I'm going to take care of somebody I love." I say, going downstairs.
"Did she hurt you?"
"Yeah, she did." I hear Lexie say.
I look around the corner, Mads mom and Lexie sit in the couch in the living room.
"Well, she told me that you stole her boyfriend." Her mother said.
I covered my mouth with my hand.
"That is not true!" Lexie yelled.
"Mads would never lie to me, why would you do that?!" She yelled.
"She didn't do anything!" I yelled.
I walked downstairs, and grabbed Lexies hand.
"She didn't do shit, Mads was the one who caused every single thing." I say.
"I don't think-"
"Well she did, she's not who you think she is." I say, as Lexie and I walk to the door.
"Goodbye." Lexie says.
We start walking to the car, Lexie walks behind me.
Before I open the door, I feel a tight grip on my waist.
Lexie hugs me from behind.
"What is this for?" I ask her.
"Thank you." She says.
I laugh.
"For what?" I ask, turning around so I can face her.
"Just..thank you." She said, as she opened the car door and climbed to the back,
"Here Jamie go to your mother and father." Noen said, handing her to me.
"Woah your even cuter than Lexie." I said.
"How rude." She says.
"I'm sorry it was a joke." I say, kissing her cheek.
She smiles.
"Tayler hurry home!" She yelled.
"Yay!" Noen yelled.
"Okay okay I'm going." Tayler said, pulling out the the driveway..
Time skip cuz I said so..
"C'mon Jaden!" Lexie yelled, as she climbed out of the car.
"Wait baby I have t be careful I'm holding Jamie." I say.
"Pass her to neon." She said.
"NOEN!" Noen yelled.
"Okay okay Noen." She said, walking up to the door.
I pass Jamie to Noen and get out of the car.
"Thank you noen." I say, taking her back.
"Your welcome." He responded.
I follow Lexie to the door, she softly knocks.
Chase opens the door.
"LEXIE'S BACK!" He yelled.
"CHASE!" She yelled back.
He hugged her tightly.
"Why is Chase being nice?" I say.
"I'm just happy-" he started to talk, then his jaw dropped.
"What?" I question.
"OH MY GOD SHES SO CUTE!!" He yelled.
"Can I hold her, pretty please?" He asked.
"Of course." I say, carefully passing her to him.
"Oh my god what a cutie.." he said, holding her up to his face.
"Can you help us get stuff from the car?" I ask.
"Yeah sure." He says, passing her to Lexie.
Lexie POV
I walk inside, nobody's into he living room, or kitchen.
"KNOCK OUT!!" I hear Anthony scream.
I look at the door to the basement, I slowly open it and walk downstairs.
"What the hell I wasn't ready!" Bryce yelled.
Kiah started to bark, she saw me.
"Hi Kiah, you have a friend." I say, walking over to her and showing Jamie.
I pat Kiah's head.
"Where are they?" I ask her.
She tilts her head, I turn around, Bryce and Anthony are in the ring.
"Thanks girl." I say, petting her one more time.
I walk over to them, Anthony punches Bryce in the stomach.
"Stop rough housing." I say.
"LEXIE!!" Anthony yelled.
He jumped over the ring and ran up to me.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH WAIT!" I yelled.
I showed him Jamie, his eyes lit up.
"PUPPY!" He yelled.
"Can I hold her?" He asked.
"Duh." I say.
I pass her to him, he gently rocks her back and forth.
"What's her name?" He asked.
"Jamie." I said.
"JAMIE!" Bryce yelled.
"Hi Jamie, let me introduce you to everybody." Anthony says.
"This is Bryce.."
"Hey girl.." Bryce said, petting her.
"Then we have Griffin!" He yelled.
"Hello.." Griffin said.
"Did you need Kiah?" He asked.
"Yeah she did." I say.
"You guys are gonna be great friends." He said.
"C'mon guys we have to get stuff from the car." I tell them.
"YAY LETS GO!" Anthony yelled.
Jadens POV
Tayler, Noen, Chase, and I started to get things from the car.
"Your really lucky to have her, you know that right?" Chase says.
I smile.
"Yeah, of course." I answer back.
"What took you guys so long?" He asked.
"We ran into somebody." I say.
"Mads?" He guessed.
"How did you know?" I ask him.
"Who else would it be." He said, rolling his eyes.
"True." I say.
"GUYS WHERE ARE THE TREATS?!" Tayler yelled.
"In the front." I say.
"K thanks." He responded.
After we get everything set up in the house, we bring in Kiah and Jamie.
Lexie sets Jamie down on the floor.
"Now walk." She says.
She starts to walk around the room, she walks up to chase.
"Hi cutie." He says.
She curled up into a ball and rested her head on his shoe.
"AWWWW!" He yelled.
"I don't wanna move.." he said.
"C'mere Jamie." I say, snapping my fingers.
She sits up, and trots over to me.
Somebody's phone started to ring, it was Lexies.
She took her phone out of her pocket and quickly answered it.
"Hello?" She says.
"Hi, is this Lexie?"
The voice sounded like a guy..
"Yes it is." She responded.
"Are you interested in doing a photo shoot in London?"
Her eyes lit up.
"Did you just say London?" She asked.
My eyes widened.
"Yes! I would love too, when would I leave?"
"Leave?" I blurted out.
"SHH!" Chase shushed me.
"Tomorrow morning."
"Okay, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." She says, hanging up the phone.
I cross my arms.
"Where are you going?" I ask her.
"I'm doing a photo shoot in London!" She yelled.
"L-London?" I stuttered.
She nodded, and sat next to me on the floor.
"When do you leave I ask.
"Tomorrow morning." She says looking down.
"How many days?" I ask.
"Why are you asking so many questions?" Anthony asked.
"I guess until Sunday." She said.
My heart ached.
"That's so long.." I whined.
"Oh stop being so dramatic you'll be fine. You get to hang out with the BOYS!" Griffin yelled.
Everybody started to cheer.
"But I wanna hang out with my girl.." I say, wrapping my hands around her waist.
"Can I come with you?" I ask.
"I don't know Jaden." She said, running her hand threw my hair.
"Don't leave me hear with them." I say.
"That's so disrespectful." Noen whispers.
"I'm happy for you, but I'll miss you.." I say.
"Aw, Ill miss you too." She says, kissing me cheek.
Tayler sniffs.
"Lexie let Jaden go with you." He says.
"Well I would love for you to go but I don't know if you can.." she says.
"It's okay, go. I'll wait for you." I say, smiling at her.
She smiles back.
"I love you." She says, resting her head on my chest.
I wrap my hands around her.
"I love you too."
