I was waiting outside Rajat's building, waiting for Karan. He was on his way. But I was extremely worried. I didn't wanna be clumsy or act weird. I wanted him to like me. I wanted the date to go well.

Soon, a black car stood in front of me and inside that car was Karan. I smiled and hopped in the passenger's seat. After putting my seatbelt, I looked at Karan and said, "Hey."

Karan started checking me out. I looked at what he was wearing. He was in a black full sleeve shirt with light blue jeans. And to be honest, he looked mesmerizing.

He had a huge grin on his face and he asked, "Did you cut your hair?"

I nodded my head. He then said, "You're looking... Pretty and cool."

"Thanks." I tried to hide the blush.

Karan then took off his seatbelt, his eyes still on mine. I looked at what he was doing and asked, "Why are you removing that?"

He came closer and kissed my cheek for two seconds. Yep, I counted. After he pulled back, he gave me his charming smile and said, "I meant it. You look really nice. I'm so glad you came."

Why did he kiss me? What did that mean? Did he like me or something? Instead of voicing my thoughts, I nodded my head. He wore his seatbelt and started driving. Karan didn't talk. So, I asked, "Where are we going?"

Karan glanced at me before looking at the road and said, "The same place where we first met. The restaurant. We didn't have dinner that night. So, I thought, we could go there."

We both were silent for a while. Then Karan spoke in a serious tone, "Look Nikhil, if you wanna leave or go somewhere else, just tell me. I don't mind."

"No that's fine. I have no problem."

Karan let out a nervous sigh and said, "Good. Because I want this to be perfect."

Wow! This guy was nervous too. Maybe we both could keep it casual? I don't know.

After we reached that place, we both went inside and we were seated in one of the corner tables that faced the window. Thankfully, Karan did not pull my chair for me to sit. I hated that kind of stuff.

After we ordered our meals, Karan placed his elbows on the table while crossing his arms. He had a calm expression on his face. He then spoke up, "Are you okay?"

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and asked, "Why do you think I'm not okay?"

"I just wanted to make sure. That's all."

I smiled and then looked out the window. Why was it so awkward? I felt like I wanted to run away from that place, eventhough it was not haunted or dangerous.

Karan cleared his throat and said, "So Nikhil. Tell me something about yourself."

I looked at him with a perplexed expression and asked, "What do you wanna know about me?"

"Anything you want me to hear?"

I chuckled and replied, "Well... Your question is very vague. But I'll try answering it anyway. For starters, I am an introvert. But once I start getting attached to a person, I can be really talkative."

Karan chuckled and said, "Even I was like that in high school but I'm a complete extrovert now."

"That's great. It is so cool to be... Cool?"

Karan laughed and said, "Hey. Its okay to be an introvert. I like introverts because according to me they are very good listeners and are smart and logical too."

I nodded my head and said, "I am a good listener. But I'm not smart. "

"Well, let me figure that out."
