"Gauri, I have no idea what I'll be wearing tonight!"

Gauri was sitting on my bed, right in front of my closet, while I stood a little away from the closet so that she could have a view of what I could wear. And Bruno was sleeping on my bed.

I had my dinner but I was confused with the dress. Gauri got up from the bed and took out her choice of clothes from my closet. She took out a red full - sleeve thin sweater and a pair of black jeans.

She then said, "Just be yourself. You don't have to look appealing just to attract others. Attract them with what you actually have."

That made sense. What was the point to pretend in front of Rajat? So, I said, "Thanks Gauri. I owe you."

I walked towards Rajat's car. When I opened the passenger seat door, he had a huge smile on his face and he said, "Get ready for a fun night, Nik!"

Okay, it really feels awkward when your crush uses your nickname without taking your permission. But it sounded personalized. And, I liked it.

I sat on my seat and closed the door. Then was the time I could see what he was wearing. A black top where the sleeves were rolled to his elbow and a pair of light blue jeans. His open hair looked so smooth and silky, that I felt like touching it. Rolling up the sleeves was a great idea. It looked really hot on him.

He started driving and asked, "Did you have something to eat?"

"Yes. Just dinner."

"Okay. Cool."

I looked out the window and asked, "Why aren't you taking Meera with you? I mean, you could go clubbing with her too, right?"

"Well, Meera is not in Mumbai. She's in Delhi. So, I can't take her with me."

Oh. That's why.

Then, he jumped to another topic, "Will you drive while coming back? I may be a little tipsy in the club."

He laughed. I tried to laugh but then I said, "Yep. I don't mind driving."

"Oh shit! How selfish am I? You would want to drink, right? You've never been to a club before. I think you should be under the table instead of me, huh?"

"No way. I don't want to get drunk. You carry on."

I wasn't really excited to puke the rest of the night and wake up with a headache. No thanks. I'm good.

He asked, still a little unsatisfied, "Are you sure?"

"More than sure."

Before we could talk more, we were outside the club. And man, it so magnificent! There were so many lights outside the club, but the moment we both entered, it was all dark. There were colourful lights changing every second and the loud music was trying to fit in my ear drums. There was a lot of crowd in there. People were dancing like crazy, few were kissing, few were just drinking the whole time. But a lot were taking pictures and videos. That sucked!

The room was huge. I wasn't even able to imagine the people that would have been there. When I turned to see what Rajat was upto, he was already rocking his head back and forth and it looked as if he had saved a lot of energy just to waste it here. He looked very happy and when he turned to see me, he screamed as loud as he could in my ears, "What do you think?"

I shouted back, "Its cool. But just stay with me. Don't leave me behind."

I was scared of getting lost. I sounded like a toddler but still, I was really scared. I kinda had social anxiety. But Rajat just laughed and shouted, "Don't worry! I'll be holding your hand."
