"Aw, he look so cute. Happy Birthday Kacey."I was on the phone with Jania.
"Say thank you."She said to Kacey smiling.
"I know you spent money for that party."I said looking around her background.
"Definitely. I just wish you and Kind was here."She said.
"Me too but you know stuff comes up."I said shrugging.
"Who that is on the phone?"I heard Kentrell say.
"Amara, why?"Jania said.
Right after she said that, the phone hung up. I fell back on my bed. I just sat there staring at the ceiling for a while. Then my door opened making me look towards it. It was Kind. She ran and jumped on the bed.
"Hey baby."I said instantly smiling.
"Hi momma."She said hugging me.
"You was playing with yo toys?"I asked her.
"Yeah but can we go get more toys?"She asked.
"You always wanna get more toys."I said sitting up.
"Please!"She said doing puppy dog eyes.
"Sure, babygirl. We can get Kacey something for his birthday while we there."I said as I got up.
"It's Kacey birthday?"She asked me.
"Yeah, you wanna call him?"I asked her.
"Yes!"She yelled as she started jumping in the bed.
I picked up my phone and unlocked it. I went to my FaceTime log and clicked on Jania. It rung for a while and then she answered. I sat down and made Kind sit next to me.
"I was gon call you back but that nigga acting weird."Jania said to me.
"Girl, I already know. But Kind wanna tell Kacey happy birthday."I said to her.
"Alright. Hold on, I gotta get him."She said.
"Alright."I said as I played in Kind's hair.
"Let me see Kacey."I heard Jania say.
"Hold on, let me take his picture."I heard somebody say.
