"I missed my house."I said as we walked in the door.
"I missed all my stuff."Kind said as she ran in her room.
"Little girl, I told you about that running."I said as I locked the door.
"Sorry mommy!"She yelled.
I grabbed my suitcase and rolled it to my room. I sat it in the back of my closet because knowing me it ain't gon get unpacked no time soon. I took jacket and my shoes off and put them up. Kentrell came in the room and flopped down on the bed.
"I thought you was leaving."I said to him.
"When did I ever say that?"He asked me.
"You not finna do that hiding shit again. You betta boss up and tell yo mom you don't want her there."I told him.
"I told her already. Damn, you saying I can't spend time with you and Kind."He said throwing his hoodie at me.
"I didn't say that. Kentrell, I just wanna chill today. I been working all week and I'm tired."I said as I hung his hoodie up.
"I ain't gon bother you."He said rolling around the bed.
"You literally always messing with me."I said to him.
"And I won't today."He said smiling.
"Yeah, we'll see."I said changing my clothes.
"Aye, I heard you was moving or something. Is that true?"He asked me.
"Yeah. I want a house but I'm keeping this apartment too."I told him.
"You not moving outta state, are you?"He asked.
"I don't know yet. I might, I might not."I said shrugging.
"Why would you move and I be here most of the time?"He asked.
"My life does not revolve around you."I said making a face.
"I'm not saying that it do. I'm just saying that when I'm not doing shows, I'm here. So why wouldn't you and Kind be here too?"He said.
"Okay and the boys live in Baton Rouge, you fly them out here, don't you?"I asked him.
"But it's different."He groaned as he put a pillow over his face.
