Dog in the Store! (RK900-298 Solo #1)

Another shift as a cashier in Digi Groceries. Beep. -298 glanced at the old clock on the wall above the entrance, but quickly realized that he was being slow from the customer tapping their foot. "I don't have all day, I need to get back home to my family. Can you hurry up, please?" -298 flashed his LED as a quick apology, which the customer most likely didn't understand. As soon as he finished, the customer huffed with their bags, exiting the store. Some people are just so rude, aren't they? He didn't have any other customers so he decided to clean his station up a little bit before he heard a commotion from his co-workers.

A dog in the store? Surely, he misheard. But sure enough, there it was, running into the store! "Leon, get the dog and get it out of here!" His manager yelled at him. He nodded, and ran after the dog. Obviously, the dog got excited and thought this was a game! Down so many aisles, -298 nearly fell as he chased the dog. "This dog is fast." He thought to himself as he continued his chase with the animal. This reminded him of his first mission, which failed of course. But it was still a reminder. He put his hand over his throat panel before he realized he had run into a stack of tomato cans! "Hey, watch it, Leon!" A female co-worker yelled at him, she must have recently stacked these cans. -298 smiled sheepishly at the co-worker before continuing his chase with the dog. The dog was in the dairy section now. Oh no, there was someone loading up some milk. The dog jumped at the milk, as if it were easy. -298, however got splashed with it, and he did not look pleased. The co-workers who were loading up the milk got confused as to why there was a dog in the building. Tomato sauce and milk on his uniform, what more is next? He had to catch the dog before he made more of a fool of himself! Eventually, -298 caught up with the dog and picked it up, despite how large it was. The dog squirmed in protest, as -298 dropped it outside. Bad dog. He shook his head as he headed back inside, but he met with his manager, who did not look pleased by the entire situation. "Leon, in my office. Now." Not again.
