Sixty had been staring at a notification on his phone for quite a while now as he was sitting on his computer chair. It was her again. Didn't she disappear? Why was she back again? Now he had to deal with two crazy ladies, once again. Though in the email, Catherine sounded more confused than she did in the last one. Should he really trust her or were they programming her to sound confused? He didn't know. "Goddamn it..." Sixty muttered under his breath as he felt Sephina jump into his lap. "What should I do, Seph? Do you think she's being stalky again?" He petted Sephina, earning a purr from his kitten as he booted up his computer. He had to answer her someday. He read the email from his phone as his computer was booting up.
Dear # 313-248-317-60,
You are probably not the most thrilled to see me once again. I apologize for my absence. I was away because I was out of commission since I had failed my mission to get information. The technicians had told me that I was away for approximately 29.53 days. The entire conversation to explain what had happened was...confusing. I apologize if I am not making any sense. Dr. Cameron has instructed me to write you an email but I do not know what to write to you since it has been a while and I do not remember what we were talking about. My mission has been compromised, and I am no longer adamant on chasing after your information, Connor-60. I would only prefer to "keep tabs" on you and possibly be your friend, if you would allow it.
Sincerely,
#313-248-327-119Once his computer was ready to go, he sat there thinking for a while. What would he write to her? It's been a month since they talked. As he read her email over again, he became frustrated since Cyberlife deactivated her from failing such a simple task. She was just gathering information, why? They were getting more strict, he noted to himself and he started to worry about the rest of his friends. What would they do to them if they became that strict? He shuddered to himself, as he typed out the letter.
Dear Catherine,
Cyberlife decommissioned you because you didn't get enough information about me in a single month? That's ridiculous! I know they are strict, but I guess they guess they became more strict ever since I became deviant. You have been away for a while, for a moment, I thought that you had given up. I don't remember what we were talking about either, it's been a month so it's been quite a while. But if Cyberlife wants to know anything about me, I will say that my functionality is 100% and that is all that they need to know. We can have casual discussions but if you want to chat, come to the fort like a normal android and not send emails. What do you mean by "keep" tabs on me? I will only trust you if Cyberlife isn't using you as an information gatherer. I'm sorry.
Sincerely,
Connor-60
"I'm not going to trust her just because she has a new mission now. She needs to prove herself.' He sighed to himself, sending the email. Sixty knew he would get another email soon, or that she would mostly visit the fort sooner or later, either asking for him or talking amongst the other androids. Why didn't she visit the fort that often in the past? Sixty felt weird thinking about it, it would have been a perfect moment for her to talk to him, seeing as he is always there. He continued to be in his thoughts, before he powered off his computer again, stroking Sephina and sighing. "I just hope that she's not the exact same." He mutters softly to himself, placing Sephina down on the floor as he gets off of his computer chair to play some video games.
