David's POV:
Our day outing so far has been successful. After the park we decided to go get some ice cream from a little shop about a block away. While we were walking, I was holding on to Ally's hand while Natalie held on to Abby's hand. I'm so glad that the girls like her since I know how scared they are to get attached to someone. I don't know why but there's something about Natalie that make me trust her wholeheartedly. I can see it in her eyes, that everything she says in does is genuine and comes from a good place. My girls need that in their life, hell, I need that in my life.
When we got back to the house, I informed the girls that it was time for a nap even though I already knew they were going to fight me every step of the way. Abby and Ally were currently captivated by the new hand game Natalie was teaching.
"Hey Natalie, do you mind watching them while I take a quick shower? I feel itchy from the grass." I say.
"Yeah, sure not a problem. Take your time." she replies with a smile.
"Okay thank you. And girls when I come back, the nap is back on."
They groan in disapproval and I head back upstairs. When I feel the hot water pour down on me, I'm instantly relaxed. I start to think about today's events and how everything felt so right. It's like we were all meant to find each other. She is so good with the kids, they are practically glued to her. She doesn't even have to try hard, when she smiles it's like a magnet. People just naturally want to be around her, people like me. I have to stop thinking about her in that way, she's here to help with the girls and that's it. I wouldn't jeopardize the relationship the girls are developing with her for this little crush I have. A crush? What am I seventeen again. I need to snap out of it and it needs to happen fast.
It feels like I've been contemplating my entire life for hours in this shower but it's probably been a good half hour. I come out of the shower and wrap the towel around my waist. I exit the bathroom and head toward the bedroom to pick out some fresh clothes. I squatted down trying to find my favorite grey sweatpants out of the bottom drawer when I heard a light knock on the door. I had barely gotten back up when I see the door swing open revealing a very shocked Natalie. I was only wearing the white towel I put on after the shower but in my defense I wasn't expecting company up here.
"Oh My God, I'm so sorry! I should've waited for you to answer the door instead of opening it myself. I'm so stupid and now I'm embarrassed." she rambled while covering her face with her hands.
"Hey it's okay, at least I still had the towel on." I joked to her, mostly to try to make her feel better. I would be embarrassed but I'm in pretty good shape and she didn't see much. "Was there something you needed?" I ask her while putting on a T-shirt but keeping the towel on.
"I just wanted to tell you that the girls fell asleep on the couch and I moved them up to their rooms." she replied still covering her face.
"Okay thank you so much. And hey, you don't have anything to be embarrassed about plus I already put on a shirt." I say laughing.
"Okay, I'll be in my room if you need me."

Natalie's POV:
I cannot believe I just did that. What was I thinking barging into a grown man's room like that. I'm such an idiot.
I lay in my bed trying to force myself to not relive the past few moments of my life. Although I must say the view was pretty nice from what I saw through the cracks of my hands. Mr. Dobrik did not have a "dad bod" at all to say the least. I was thoroughly impressed and completely embarrassed by my actions.
