Y/n was sitting on her bed, her fingers flew across her lap tops keyboard as she hastily tried to finish her final English essay. While it wasn't technically due for four days, she wanted to go ahead and get it out of the way. There was a knock on her bedroom door and without a thought said "Come in"

"Hey Babe" Ricky said as he leaned against the doorframe. "What's happening?"

"I have finals coming up, I'm trying to finish my work." Y/n replied as she still didn't look up from her work. "I have a five page paper due for my college English class."

"Oh, should I leave?" Ricky asked as he motioned behind him.

"Oh no, no you're fine. You can stay." Again, Y/n still had yet to look up at her boyfriend.

"How long have you been working on homework?"

"What time is it?"

"Eight o'clock."

"Ummmm, since I woke up at nine..."

"This morning?" Ricky asked as he walked up to the girls bed, taking a seat on the edge.

"No, last night." Y/n replied sarcastically.

"Part of me knows you're being sarcastic but the other part of me thinks you're serious." A concerned look ran over Ricky's face.

Y/n glared up at him, rolling her eyes.

"Sorry" He said as he held his hands up in surrender.

Y/n shook her head and looked back down at her work.

Ricky could tell Y/n was about to reach the end of her rope. He hated seeing her this stressed out, so he took her laptop.

"Hey, give it back." Y/n exclaimed, furrowing her brow.

"No, I'm not going to do that." Ricky shook his head.

Y/n reached across Ricky, reaching for her laptop. Ricky leaned back, holding it out of reach. "You need to take a break!"

"There's no time for a break!"

"Y/n, when's your paper due?"

"In four days..."

"And how many paged do you need to write?"

"Four..."

"How many have you already written?"

"Three" Y/n rolled her eyes "Is there a point to all these questions?"

"Three and?"

"Three and a half... Is there a point?"

"Yeah, the point is, you're taking a break. End of discussion." Ricky closes the computer. "Your mom said she's going to be ordering pizza, and you're not going to do any more work until tomorrow afternoon."

Y/n sighed, leaning back on her bed. "Fine, fine, fine. I'll take a break, but if I fail and don't get my paper done in time, I'm suing you."

"You do that" Ricky rolls his eyes, laughing quietly.

Y/n couldn't help but chuckle in return.

"I'm sorry for taking your computer, but you just looked so stressed. I know how hard this semester was for you."

"Yeah, thanks for being so concerned about me." Y/n smiled at him, pulling his into a hug.

Ricky smiled, wrapping his arms around Y/n as her mother called that pizza was there. "Let's go get some pizza, shall we?"
