"Dude just call her." Eric said.

"Hmm?" Ethan grunted.

"You're out of it man. You've been staring at your sandwich for the past 5 minutes and your leg wont stop shaking." His co-star said.

"What makes you think it's about her." Ethan defensively said.

Eric shot him a look 'seriously'.

"I've been around you for 4 months. I think I'd be able to recognize an Emma induced anxiety episode from miles away."

"I'm just worried. She said she'd text me when she got home." Ethan said.

"Then she'll text you when she's home." Eric plainly said.

" I obviously know that. It's just that she walks home from the bar tonight and it's not like her to forget to text."

''Well maybe-" Eric began, but was interrupted when Ethan's phone chimed.

He looked relieved. Ethan's phone was soon shoved into his face.

The text read:

Sorry for the late text. Tana said she could give me a ride home and we ended up gossiping in front of my house for 15 minutes. I hope it didn't worry you too much. Goodnight XOXO.

"Sorry man, I just miss her. The distance is literally driving me crazy." Ethan admitted.

Eric chuckled, " It's alright, I completely understand. The first year Marla and I had to spend time apart was the purest form of agony, but don't worry the compulsion of wanting to be near them 24/7 eventually starts to fade away."

"Is there science to back that up?" Ethan skeptically asks.

"Of course there is Ethan. Fate makes it so that couples are forced to want to get to know one another. Without the pull people would try to by pass their destined soulmates." Eric said.

"So I'm not crazy?" Ethan asked.

"No, you're not crazy." Eric confirmed.

"Thank god. I was scared that I starting to be clingy." Ethan said.

"Just a little, but hey you'll be able to see her in a few weeks." Eric optimistically said.

Ethan dreamily sighed, "I know. Face times aren't enough. Those are rare commodities."

"You should take her out and do something. The best way to connect with your partner is to spend some good quality time with just the two of you when you've spent some time apart. I did that for Marla and she went nuts. She still tells the story to her friends all the time." Eric said.

"You think a trip is a good idea? We both have been really stressed and tired, and I doubt planning a trip will relax us." Ethan said.

"You'd be surprised. I mean c'mon you're loaded. Throw some money here and there and all you'll have to worry about is making it to your dinner reservations. You won't have to lift your finger at all. Your only job will be to enjoy yourself."

"I don't know. Emma doesn't even really like me talking about those perks of the fame. I doubt she'll like me throwing that much money around. She's a simple girl who would rather cuddle and watch Netflix." Ethan said.

Eric shrugged, " She's still a girl after all. Who wouldn't want a free vacation. Just think about it though. We don't have that much time before we're called back to the studio to do some ADR  and reshoot some scenes."

Someone burst into the dressing room." You guys are needed on set." They shouted before running out to gather the other actors.

Ethan stayed in his seat thinking over what Eric said.

"Are you coming?" Eric asked noticing how lost in his thoughts Ethan was.

"Yeah, I'll um catch up in a sec." Ethan said.

Once Eric was out of the room Ethan dialed Courtney. "Hey Court, Could you do me a big favor..."

OoOoOoO

"Emma can you stop looking at your phone and listen to my first world problems for once." Amanda said.

Emma winced, "Sorry. Ethan's on a break from filming and I'm taking advantage of the limited time we have."

"When was the last time you talked?" Amanda asked.

" A few nights ago when I told him I made it home safe. I swear these time zones are killing me." Emma said.

Emma pouted, "He has to go." She sighed.

"So what were these first world problems?" Emma asked.

"Thank you for asking." Amanda sarcastically said.

Amanda blushed,"Well... I met a boy."

"Wait really! What's his name? Tell me everything!" Emma exclaimed.

"Chase." Amanda said dreamily.

"So what's the problem?" Emma asked.

"He might have a girlfriend." Amanda groaned, "But it's not fair because he's my soulmate!"

"Yikes." Emma said.

"I know. You're lucky that Ethan broke up with Madison before you met. I just met the guy. How do i tell him to call it off with the girl he's been with for two years."

"He told you they've been together for two years?"

"Well no. I might have done some Instagram stalking but that's besides the point. What do I do?" Amanda asked.

Emma shrugged,"Spend time with him. The second I started hanging out with Ethan he was all I could think about. I doubt Chase will be able to resist you, he'll break it off with the girl in no time."

Amanda sighed, "Gosh I can't believe we're at this point in our lives. It feels like it was just yesterday we were drooling over the hot guys that came into that cafe. Omg! Do you remember Aaron," Amanda started to cackle, "I can't believe I told you to give him a chance. Can you imagine the drama that would have ensued. Didn't you meet Ethan like a week later or something." Amanda said.

"Yeah talk about great timing." Emma said munching on her burrito.

"I still find it funny that my celebrity crush became your soulmate. It's like you're living some sort of fanfiction."

"Fanfiction? What's that?"

"What! Did you not have a childhood! How do you not know about fanfiction? I swear you need to pick up you nose from those books you're constantly buried in." Amanda said.

"Yeah yeah yeah, I've heard the 'you're pop culture knowledge sucks' rant for 10 years now Amanda what's new." Emma said.

"Woah, I'm just saying." Amanda said holding her hands up in defense.

"So... does that mean you have no idea of the fanfiction about you and Ethan?" Amanda questioned.

Emma choked on her burrito, "What!"

Amanda facepalmed herself. This was going to be a long day trying to explain to Emma the extensive world of fandoms.

AN: ADR stands for Automated Dialogue Replacement. I'm not 100% that this is the word i was looking for but sometimes actor's lines are incoherent and while they're editing they catch it and call the actor in to redo the line.
