Chapter 12

Lexa

We were all gathered in the secluded conference room, rounding the big table. My parents arrived looking displeased, Costia is fidgeting at my side, Clark's parents looked deadly, the former Arkadian Queen sizing up Costia, Octavia looking down at her hands while Luna and Anya staring at Costia suspiciously. I heavily sighed and just on cue Nyoko arrived. "your majesties.." he bowed down before proceeding towards his seat. "How could you not inform us about this Nyoko?! We trusted you for so long.." Abby started shouting angrily at the doctor. "It was the princess wish your majesty.. I'm sorry if you felt betrayed but I valued my patients confidentiality.. She doesn't want anyone to know that's why I kept it even if I know you would despise me for this.." the old doctor said. "So she really lost my grandchild.." my mother weakly said while looking at the doctor for confirmation. I felt a painful pang when she said those words "yes...unfortunately she did.." sadness was written all over his face. My mother cried "Abby.." she called Clark's mother who also cried in pain. "I'm so sorry.." she pleaded forgiveness for what I've done. My father look at me with disappointment in his face. Jake Clark's father immediately comforted his wife. I began to cry in silence.. I never showed my emotions even to my parents but this time I just broke down. I felt Costia hugged my side comforting me but i don't feel at ease instead I withdraw from her coldly then composed myself. "How could you do that to my daughter Lexa?!?" Abby said while already standing up "Abby.." the former King of Arkadia warned his wife. "Its not Lexa's fault.. Its no one's fault.. Maybe the child wasn't meant to be born.." Jake said sadly. Silence reigned when the double doors opened revealing Indra and Lincoln holding  the Arkadian General in place. He looked shocked as he saw us then he slightly turned to Costia then looked down. I glance at Costia at the Corner of my eyes and saw her face a bit alarm. Hmm.."Bellamy what are you doing here.." Jake asked, the general didn't answer instead he looked straight at my eyes. I felt my blood boil as those pictures of him and Clark flashed on my mind. I gripped my armrest tightly, then Jake followed his gaze "Lexa what is going on.." my Father asked looking confused. I stood up then walked towards him. Lincoln and Indra hit his knees making him kneel before me. "Lexa!" my mom called me angrily but I didn't listen. "we finally meet general.." i said with venom in my voice. His eyes showed fear just like what I wanted it to be. "i know you know why you're here.. So why not tell us the whole truth now or I'll just simply removed your head and let it be eaten by wolves along with your wife.." and just on cue the double doors opened dragging the general's wife, she was hysterical screaming and shouting at the soldiers dragging her then she saw us which made her gasp and fell into silence. Confusion was written all over her face she look at her husband and back at us. The general on the other hand was speechless, tears poured down on his face then he bowed and pleaded. "please your highness she's not part of this.. Have mercy on her.." "Bellamy... What is going on.." his wife asked him weakly. "what did you do?!" i look at the pair and can't help feel nothing.. This is nothing compared to what they've done to me. "how about it then?" i said challenging him. I could see the hesitation in his eyes he glanced at my back and i followed his sight. I saw Costia almost pale and unable to to move on the scene before her, she avoided my gaze when she caught my eyes. I unsheath my sword making him gasp. "Lexa what the hell are you doing?!" my mother asked. Then out of the corner of my eye the former sky King stood up and moved in front of me,shielding Bellamy from my wrath. "I don't know whats gotten into you Child but Bellamy is my trusted general in Arkadia I would not let you harm him." he said in gritted teeth. "you should rethink that decision once you hear the truth from him" i said with anger. "what are you saying?!" he asked. "General!!! Start your fucking pleas now before I lose my patience and start cutting your wife!!!" i said angrily then dragged my sword pointing towards the woman's neck. She cried for her life. Jake was unable to caught up with my movements as I moved towards the woman." last warning.. 1...2..." " I DRUGGED THE PRINCESS!!!! THE NIGHT OF THE FEAST IN ARKADIA I TOOK THAT CHANCE TO  DRUG HER IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HER!!! WHAT YOU SAW IN THE PICTURES WAS ALL MY DOING, SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT, SHE WAS SO INNOCENT SO IGNORANT!!!!!" And in one swift motion I was already in front of him and buried my sword to his neck. Blood splattered on the white pavement and his head rolled on the ground. Deafening screams was heard from his wife. Jake was stuck in his place and i felt my world crumbled knowing that Clark was innocent all along.. He ruined our lives together.. He ruined our chance to love and take care of our baby..his death could never make up for the lost times he took. "Lexa.." i heard Jake calling me. He slowly pat my shoulders and I faced him. I could see pain in his eyes that reflected mine. I let go of my bloody sword and broke down. I let him hugged me. Then I heard steps walking towards me, I felt my mother's presence slowly caressing my back as I cried. I cried for pain.. I cried for my life.. "removed the body and lock that girl in the prison. She is also responsible for his husband's actions. She deserves to rot like her dead husband's body." i heard my father commanded angrily. "Clark.." i said in whisper remembering my beautiful innocent wife who gave me the light that I longed to have. I stood up and immediately walked away  then someone pulled me back and I faced a crying heartbroken Costia "where are you going.. Are you going to her? What about me Lexa.." she said almost pleading. "I.. I don't know Costia.. I just.. Don't know.. All I know is I have to go to her I'm sorry.." i said while pulling my arm away. "no please Lexa.." but I didn't listen and continued to ran like a mad woman.. Running towards the light that I longed for...
