The room felt warmer as soon as Edmund opened the door . I was as if something sinister left as he arrived . He grasped my hands in his and sat me down on the bed , kneeling so we were eye to eye . " We have to get out of here , right now . " He said .
It took me a minute to process everything . The woman's voice was still lingering in the back of my mind but I willed myself to focus on that later . " {Y/N} , did you hear me you need to pack a rucksack with clothes and shoes fit for travelling . I'll bring food and water . Meet me by the stables when you hear the bells in the tower ring three times . "
"Edmund , slow down , " I interrupted . He was hyperventilating and speaking so quickly I found it difficult to make out what he was saying . " Take a deep breath . " He inhaled sharply . " hold it , count to four , then breath out . " He did as he told . I tilted my head silently asking if he felt better . He nodded a yes .
" We need to get out of here , " he started .
