Ch5:

Jellal's pov

"Jellal. Where were you? We've been looking for 2 whole weeks" Ultear asked, turning to me when I walked into the cave that they'd settled down in. "We thought you'd been killed or captured" Meredy added, leaning her head on her hand.

Her eyes then flicked down. "Where did you find a blond kid and why does he look like he's got dragged through a thorn bush a thousand times?" she asked.

Ultear walked over and glanced at the boy. She lifted up the back of his slighty torn shirt a little then backed up. "Jellal. That kid is from Sabertooth. Do you have any idea what you've done?" Ultear asked.

"I didn't do anything. I saved him from being pumbled to death. Besides, I owe his sister something in return for her help" I explained. "Who's his sister?" Meredy asked. "Her name is Abe Lore" I replied.

Ultear looked furious. "You got involved with Abe Lore. She is notorious for bringing in criminals and you got involved with her. That woman is trouble. All she cares about is herself" Ultear explained.

"Do you know her?" Meredy asked. "I don't know her personally but I've ran into her a few times. She has a sharp eye for criminals and although she doesn't kill, she may as well with how ruthless she is to criminals. She almost cut my arm off in our fight because I was caught off guard by her magic" Ultear explained.

"Why were you caught off guard by her magic?" I asked. "She uses the same magic as Rusty Rose" she stated plainly. "She uses Arc oof embodiment  magic?" Meredy asked. Ultear nodded.

"She wasn't that bad when I met her. She brought me back to her place to heal a wound I had received and she really cares about her brother" I explained. "You've screwed up Jellal. You've screwed up big time" Ultear grumbled.

"How?" Meredy asked. "If she cares about this kid as much as I care about you then she won't hesitate to have Jellal's head. She'll get payed for that too so she that will give her even more of a reason to come searching for him" Ultear explained.

"I didn't kidnap him Ultear. I saved him from someone else who was trying to kill him" I explained. She raised an eyebrow as if knowing that I wasn't giving all the details. I sighed.

I escaped because she was going to hand me over to the council so she chased after me and I guess her brother chased after her. Can you just help me heal him?" I grumbled.

"Fine but I'm not going to forgive you for getting a Sabertooth mage, one of the top guilds of Sabertooth on our tails. That woman just wants power and nothing else. She's just like the rest of her guildmates. Self centered and narcissistic" Ultear grumbled, takinng the boy from my arms and gently propping him against a rock.

She looked him over. "He's taken damage to his head and from my guess, his leg is dislocated, his arm is broken and a few of his ribs are broken too. He's lucky that nothing else was damaged and that he's even still alive with these injuries" Ultear muttered, examining the young teen.

"It will heal right?" I asked. "If he gets them treated then yes. Your going to go find Lore and bring her here" Ultear explained. "Why? You literally said like 2 minutes ago that she's after my head" I objected.

"Because you got us in this mess and your going to fix it" Ultear replied. I sighed but walked out of the cave, trying to see if I could find Abe.
