Ch7:

Merry Christmas everyone. Here's an extra chapter as a present to you guys. (It's not a special)

Jellal's pov

I led Abe back to the cave that we were currently staying in, rubbing my neck which still kinda hurt. I looked over to Abe who gave me a glare. "Can you maybe stop that. Its kinda uncomfortable" I asked, taking a hold of one sleeve.

"I don't take orders from criminals" She snapped, eyes narrowed. I coughed slightly and turned away. "If this is about-" I started. "Its not about what happened! Stop talking about that!" she yelled. I looked down at my feet, my face feeling extremely hot. 

I went back to rubbing my neck where the marks and cut were. I kept walking until I got to the entrance of the cave. "Ultear? Are you still in there?" I called, hoping she hadn't just ran off and left me to fend for myself.

She walked up to the entrance. "If you thought I was just going to leave then your wrong" she grumbled before her eyes rested on the hand marks and cut on my neck and then Abe who was standing beside me now. 

"I told you she'd be after your head" she mumbled before walking back into the cave. "Hey. You're the one who sent me out there. Its not my fault" I objected. Before Ultear could reply, a cry of relief echoed through the cave.

Abe ran over to the small boy and took him in her arms, placing her ear against his chest. "Oh Rufus. I'm so sorry" she whispered, pulling his hair aside to look at his head. "Jellal brought him here before you ask" Meredy explained, looking at Abe.

"He got him away from this other guy. We didn't see the guy though so we wouldn't know" Ultear explained. Abe turned to me. "You saved him?" she asked. "Well you helped me besides any decent human being would help a teen that was being beaten to death" I explained, rubbing one hand on the back of my neck.

Abe stood up, holding the teen in her hands and walked over to me. "Thanks for saving him" she explained, taking one hand and placing a kiss on it. My face turned so red that it could rival Erza's hair. "I won't report you to the council. That's my thank you for saving him" she explained before walking out of the cave.

I looked at the hand which had been kissed. "Oooh. Someone's in love" Meredy teased. "No I'm not. I just wasn't prepared for that" I grumbled in reply. "Sure. That's the reason" Ultear sighed, shaking her head. I adverted my gaze, trying to hide how red my cheeks were.

I didn't like her. It was just a coincidence that my body choose to react the way it did twice. Its not my fault. I can't control my body when stuff like that happens. It was just a coincidence.
