My mom started sobbing, "No, My daughter is not dead. And it's my choice to keep her here!". The doctor sighed and walked away.
Then I heard a familiar voice,it was my papa! Oh how I missed him!! I ran to hug him but he went right passed me and called out to my mother. My Papa was never home because of work but today he came back because I am dead.
Do you remember I was talking about not just one reason?
This is one of them. When I was a kid, I remember playing with papa at our courtyard. He would push the swing for me and I would feel like flying. That laughter and happiness was not for long. I Remember, one night I was awoken by some sounds and I was on the stair as I saw my papa walking out with his luggage. He turned back and came up the stairs. He Said, "I am going far away for my work baby, I will be back soon."
"Papa come back fast so that we can play on the swings."
He smiled with regret and got up and left. I did wait for many summers for Papa but all I got was phone calls on my birthday of how sorry he was not able to attend.
Isn't it funny that tonight he finally came back but I'm not here anymore.
