Your first day was stressful, but you knew that you would quickly get into a routine, and everything would become easy. Most everyone there was either your age or younger than you, so it was a building of kids that could all relate to each other. It was sort of comforting.

The extra money helped as well. With Scott working his job, still getting money from his parents, and you working your job, there was at least $50 every week left to spend. You weren't good at saving money at all, so you had Scott hide it somewhere while you were sleeping.

Speaking of Scott, things were still going great with him. He kept up his normal schedule of working all night and sleeping most of the day. It was great when you come home to a clean house, with dinner all made. He was so sweet sometimes.

You walked into the house around 5:13. Wendy's wasn't too far from the apartment, which was a total SCORE! Scott was laying down on the couch, drinking Ginger Ale, and watching some movies.

"I'm home." You told him, as if he couldn't see you.

"Hello, hello." He piped up.

You put your shoes on the mat, and your coat on the rack, and stood next to him.

"So, what should we do for dinner?"

He grasped the remote and paused the movie. He stayed silent for a moment, "What do you want to eat?"

"You know I don't know."

"I think we've got some cereal in the back. A simple dinner. We can watch this movie together." He offered.

You thought about this before responding, "Okay. I'll make us bowls of cereal."

The both of you sat on the couch, plowing through the cereal, watching A Clockwork Orange.

When the both of you woke up from your movie nap, it was dark outside. The television was the only thing lit in the entire room, so it seemed as if it were glowing. You got up, picked up the cereal bowls, washed them in the kitchen sink, and went over to wake Scott up.

"Hey, Scott." You nudged him, "Wake up." You nudged him again. He shifted, and finally faced you again.

"Is it time for me to go?"

"No, not yet, it's only 10. I was thinking we could go out. Maybe go to the park, talk about stuff, look at the stars."

"Honey, that sounds really nice, but I really just want to sleep until my shift. Some other time."

"Oh, no, that's fine. I don't blame you. Do you want a blanket?"

"Ah- no, thanks."

You put your hand on his phone head.

"Goodnight for now. I'll wake you up at 11:30."

You walked into your bedroom, dejected. What were you supposed to do until then? The house was clean. No one needed fed. You already took a shower. What more was there to do?

You sit on your bed, staring into space until it was time to wake Scott up.

-

He woke up by the nudging of their hand and the urging in their voice. Scott sluggishly slumped up, and stumbled around, finding his uniform and badge. By the time everything had been put on, he was fully awake. He walked out the door, kissing his partner goodbye, readying himself for the painful job.

When he entered his destination, the night guard's room, it was already 11:58. His shift would properly begin in two minutes, and he, quite frankly, was not ready for it. Things had been fairly easy so far - the animatronics would barely ever leave the stage. The only one who actually went up to his door so far was Bonnie. Things seemed almost too easy at times, but he appreciated those times.
