It wasn't the weekend yet, and Scott was sort of relieved. He was nervous about the tension there'd be between himself and [Y/N]. They were right; all the time they had spent so far apart, he felt like he barely knew them anymore. But, that could be a good outlet to restart.

But, he wasn't going to lie to himself, he was having an awful lot of fun sleeping around with Vincent.

The whole reason Scott broke up with him in the first place was because he felt like he was just a sex toy. Funny. Not that he was implying he was dating Vincent again. It was just kind of like... multiple one-night stands, but different.. They talked, they fucked, they ate together, they slept together, temporarily lived together, did stuff together..... oh. It really did sound like a relationship, didn't it?

Nope! Nope, it didn't! At least, that's what Scott convinced himself to think.

-

You were dreading the vacation. It's kind of sad, really. Vacations are meant for taking a load off, and relaxing. But for you, this specific vacation meant endless awkward situations and an attempt to reconnect with your secretive boyfriend.

'Boyfriend'.

That word sounded weird now. Foreign, almost. When was the last time you called Scott your boyfriend? When was the last time he called you his partner?

You put your head in-between your hands and sighed aloud.

But, on the other hand, you were also anticipating the horrible vacation. Not only were you going to get to go to California, but you would be spending that time with him. It'd be fun, surely.

Surely.

-

Time passed. It was Sunday morning, 6:12 a.m. Scott had spent the night sleeping on the couch of his own apartment. His bags were packed with some clothes and a cell phone charger. For his cell phone. For Vince.

> I think we're heading out soon. They've been in the shower for an hour. I'm exhausted.

< Is my bed more comfortable?

> Than the futon? Sure.

< ;)

-

You got out of the shower, feeling all clean and nice. Your bag was packed last night, and sat neatly on the bed. All you had to do was pick it up, and leave. Okay, maybe you had to check the house for anything you forgot, turn off all the lights, unplug all the electronics so the bill won't go up, and find your keys. But that wouldn't take long, right?

Ha.

It takes forever.

-

He watched videos on his phone while they worked at trying to get ready to go. He would've helped if they said anything about it.

"Hey, I'm ready to go. You ready?" They were in front of him, holding a hefty bag. He turned his phone off and stood up.

"Yeah. Let's go."

They took a seat in the passenger. He had to drive.

He pulled out the GPS, turned it on, entered in the location they were going, and drove out of the parking lot.

He had only been driving for maybe fifteen minutes, and he was already irritated by his phone head. But he really didn't want to take it off in front of them. But he could also get in a wreck due to his lack of good vision..

Yeah, it was more logical to take it off. As soon as he was stuck at a red light, he took the mask off, not even saying anything to them.

He could tell they were staring at his face in the corner of his eye. He still didn't say anything.
