Eunji

"That guy earlier was cute," Chanyeol noted casually to Eunji as he hung up his apron and she began counting money.

"You have a girlfriend already," she said over her shoulder.

"I mean," Chanyeol started and walked over to Eunji's side, "that he was definitely flirting with you when he ordered."

"He is cute," Eunji allowed with a quick glance up from the money to look at her coworker, "but he had a date with him."

"So?" Chanyeol shrugged, turning around to rest his elbows on the counter and lean back.

"Chanyeol!" Eunji scolded and slapped him on the arm playfully.

"Hey, you never know she could have been his sister or something!" Chanyeol dodged a second slap and shrugged.

"She was definitely his date," Eunji rolled her eyes, "I know my stuff."

"Are you implying I don't?" Chanyeol mockingly looked at her as if he had been insulted.

"You've been dating the same girl since high school, you don't have to worry about flirting or those types of subtle things," Eunji explained, finishing her counting and handing a stack of money to Chanyeol, "put this in the safe, will you?"

"And you know everything there is about the subtleties of flirting?" Chanyeol asked over his shoulder as he went into the back with the money.

"I've dated probably twelve people in my lifetime and I've flirted with more than I can count," Eunji followed Chanyeol into the back, "I think I know a thing or two about flirting."

"So by your expertise, you know that that guy flirting with you had a date?" Chanyeol laughed with an eyebrow raised.

"Yes," Eunji nodded, "and what's more is I can tell you the next time he comes he won't be with the same girl."

"How can you tell that?" Chanyeol asked with actual interest. "You exchanged maybe twenty words with the guy."

"He's the playboy type, I can tell," Eunji smirked knowingly.

"Well, if he is, then you're his next target," Chanyeol tipped his forehead towards Eunji as she folded up her apron and put it away.

"I know," she sighed, "but I have no interest in his type."

"The playboy type?" Chanyeol leaned against the wall next to Eunji as she grabbed her keys.

"He's not interested in comittment and I only go for relationships I think can last me a while," Eunji said, spinning her keys around her finger by the keychain.

"What are you gonna do if he comes back?" Asked Chanyeol as they stepped out of the coffee shop and onto the street.

"Give him coffee, I guess," Eunji shrugged and locked up the shop.

"You guess," Chanyeol mocked with a small laugh.

"Goodnight, Chanyeol," Eunji rolled her eyes, "see you tomorrow morning."

"See ya."

"Goodmorning!" Eunji smiled brightly at the playboy from the day before. She figured he'd be back, but not nearly this soon.

"I'll, uh, have that thing you gave me yesterday," he said, all his confidence and suave from the day before nowhere in sight.

"I don't think you came by yesterday," Eunji teased to which he made a confused and shocked face, "the guy who came by yesterday was much more of a smooth talker than you are. Do you have a twin?"

"Do you want me to smooth talk you?" The man asked, raising an eyebrow, his playboy demeaner back on full blast.

Eunji bit her lip teasingly, leaning forward to rest her elbows on the counter before saying, "Oh, I would, but I'm not into playboys."

"Playboys?" He inquired, raising his eyebrow again.

"I think you know what I mean," Eunji laughed, standing up straight, "what's your name?"

"You say you're not interested, but you ask my name?" Playboy smirked.

"It's for your drink, dingus," Eunji rolled her eyes, holding up an empty cup and a marker for emphasis.

"Sehun," he said quickly, a little flustered, and left the counter to wait for his drink.

Eunji wondered what was up with Sehun as she scribbled his name onto a plastic cup and went on to take the next person's order. He was all charm yesterday, and now he was like a flustered adolescent. He was wavering between his playboy attitude and being completely thrown off by Eunji flirting with him in return. He was a weird one, but it kind of intruiged her. She wondered if he put up the playboy act as a front and was actually a softie on the inside. Regardless, she wasn't interested in getting involved with him. Act or not, he was a playboy, and that was not going to work.

Sehun

Sehun hated to admit that he was a little disappointed the owner of the coffee shop wasn't the one making the drinks today. He wanted to hear her call out his name again; he wanted to know if his chest would hurt like it did the first time. Although he would have prefered if she were calling out his name while in his bed and her clothes on his floor, he was willing to settle with her calling out his name for his drink. He was denied even this, however, as the manager of the shop called out for Sehun to pick up his drink.

He realized that he didn't even know the owner's name. Sehun was so used to having the upper hand with women that he didn't know how to proceed when all the cards were in her hands. He had never been this flustered around a woman before and he was starting to wonder if there was something wrong with him. Perhaps he was getting a cold and the weird feelings he was having were sinuses.

"Eunji, can you grind some more Ethiopian?" The manager asked as he held up an empty container, waving it in the owner's general direction.

"Yeah, yeah," she waved her hand dismissively, walking towards him to snatch the container from his hands, "man the register."

The owner disappeared into the back where the muffled sound of a coffee grinder could be heard for a few moments until it stopped and the owner returned with a container filled with coffee grinds.

"Here, nerd," she shoved the container into the manager's arms with a joking smile.

"Thanks, Eunji," he replied, turning to place the container on the shelf among other identical containers.

Her name is Eunji...
