"Damn it!" I didn't mean to attack! I slammed my fist into the bark of the nearest tree, Bits of the bark flew off. Demetri should have listened now he was wounded badly. He should have known I was not ready for the part of the training.
My blood lust only gets worse as time progresses. It gets harder to control the beast inside. "Stay away you stupid animal!" I yelled into the trees as I continued to punch the tree. I needed to cool off so I headed to my favorite place here at the manour. The lake it had a calming effect to it so quiet and peaceful. I took a few deep breaths and headed deeper into the woods.
The woods himself was easy to get around if you knew where it step other wise down you went. The roots of trees always seemed ready to trip you. The rocks were waiting for you to walk into them. I remember my first time I pretty much crawled my way to the lake. My feet hurt so bad And my hands were cut badly Vireo the leader here had to heal me. She is something great that woman well not so much of a woman but a woman none the less. She has her own story to tell.
As I moved through the forest the leaves ruffled under foot crunching. Soon it's Will be winter. I heard noises from above I paid no attention to believing it was just the birds until the sound followed me.
I grew tense and was ready to attack I quickly turned and as I did a creature jumped from above somewhere in the tree line and landed on me. I fell to the ground with a thump. I managed to move quick enough in order to pin the creature down. "Damn my small size." She said as she laid under me. I stared at her she had vivid blue eyes and her hair was matted with leaves. Her skin was a the color of a chestnut. "Who are you?!" I asked baring my fangs. She simply looked up at me blinking her eyes. "You are so adorable." She replied as she tried to reach up for me but she couldn't due to the way I had her pinned she pouted. I narrowed my eyes at her "Answer me!" She blinked and turned bright red. What in the hell kind of person is she I asked myself many are scared of me yet here she is laying under me blushing. "Sorry, I was practicing on how to jump people in order to compete in hand-to-hand combat but as far as I can tell I have failed." She answered all in one breath. How could something so small hold so much air? "Name?" I asked drilling eyeing her. She was not from the manour her cloths which look to be fur from forest animals tells me so. "A name..." She took a deep breath."is a persons treasure, it's what defines them. If I were to tell you my name that would make us more than strangers. Do you understand?" She said in return. I thought for a moment never knowing that exchanging names was so special. I wondered if she had been eating some of the hazel berries. Those berries can knock you for a loop. I agreed to her more that strangers thing anyway. She lifted herself up to my ear The best she could and whispered. "Sol."
Then she head butted me. I fell back on my ass. She quickly stood up I did the same watching her. "What about you, what's your name?" She asked fixing her cloths. "My name is Leonardo but many call me Leo." I answered as I loosened up. She girl was no threat to me. She smiled at me showing me her white teeth. She nearly blinded me that smile stirred something deep within myself the beast growled in protest.
