I watched him dig in the fridge and freezer as he was getting ready to cook. A small smile crept across my face He seemed so big in the small kitchen. Well it wasn't small but he is just really tall. "So umm what are you going to cook?" I asked head resting in the Palm of my hand as I Sat at the island in the center of the kitchen." Tacos." He answered as he tossed the pack of hamburger in to the frying pan. He then turned and began to chop and dice vegetables. "I can help if you want me too." I said playing with a piece of my wet hair. "No." I pouted "are you sure?" I asked. "Sol." He looked up at me his index finger pressed to his lips. He was telling me to shut up. I sighed and just watched him. I couldn't stay quiet it wasn't in my nature I'm just so hyper and active. "Who taught you cook?" I asked hoping to make light conversation. "Some one who once meant a lot to me." He answered his voice seem to have changed tone one with compassion. "Your master?" I asked curiously.

I had heard a great deal of beasts and their masters. A bond that was strong one forged of love and honestly. A bond without fear or hate chief once told me that a beast comes in many shapes and sizes and one day I would meet mine. Would Leo be my beast? I asked myself and some part of me lit up with hope. The look on his face soon made me regret that I had asked the question. "I'm sorry I didn't mean anything by it. You know what they say when curiosity killed the cat right." I said giving a nervous chuckle. "Just shut up Sol." He said with a low growl. I put my head down on the table. I felt defeated everything I say turned into a fight. The smell of cooked meat made my stomach growl. "It's almost done." He said as I could hear him pulling out plates from the cabinets. I peeked up at him as he was setting up the tacos on hard shells. I had tacos when I was small. My mom used to make them She said it was out of Love. "Leo, did you love your master?" I asked this time I was ready for him to yell only I wouldn't let it stop me. "Why should I tell you anything about that?" He said putting a plate in front of me.

I sat up and took a bite of the taco it was hot but it tasted so good. The meat was tender and the vegetables added a nice fresh crunch. I let out a moan. "So good." I said looking up at him. He just stared at me. He still was wearing his wet cloths I hoped he wouldn't catch a cold. "What it's good." I said he stood up taking his taco over to the trash. "I'm not hungry." He said the left the kitchen leaving me alone. I pushed my taco aside and put my head on the table.

A few minutes later I could feel a presence in the kitchen. "I know you're there." I said not looking up. "Hello." A deep Russian accent said. I looked up the accent was intriguing. The man that had the accent was even better only he was the man from the woods earlier today. His wounds were gone and he looked a lot better. He was about the same height as Leo but he was much bigger in muscle mass. He was pale and had long hair it was pulled back into a low pony tail. His eyes were a earthy brown. "I'm Demetri. " he said holding out a large hand for me to shake. I did out of respect. "My name is Sol." I replied he released my hand and sat across from me at the small island. He too seemed to not fit in the kitchen. "Why are you here alone and why are you not eating?" He asked his Russian voice full of concern. "I was with Leo but I upset him with my millions of questions." I said sadly nipping at a slice tomato.

To my surprise Demetri laughed. "What?" I asked." He isn't much of a emotion shower but you see when he walks away it is not out of anger but he goes away to think." He explained. "To think?" I asked He nodded." You Sol have sent his mind in motion not many can do that he normally acts on violence or anger but with you we thinks. So don't be afraid to go to him, you need him and he needs you." He explained.

I smiled and nodded taking my plate to the sink. "Could you umm take me to his room. I'm still not used to getting around." I confessed. He stood up only now that I'm standing up he seems larger than life. "Gee is everyone as big as a mountain?" I mumbled Demetri smirked and walked through the door way out of the kitchen I just followed knowing I had to walk a lot of stairs.

I made light conversation with Demetri as we went. "So you and the red head are coupled?" He nodded. "Her name is Vireo You can call her Vi." He said. "Ok Vi, did she master you?" He nodded again. "Was it hard?" He stopped and looked at me. "Everything Is different with each beast and master. Some master easy others do not some even need to complete a ritual in order to be bonded. Leo has that he is a special kind." He stopped there letting it sink in to my already filled mind. I just nodded "yeah ok I got that." I said. "Anything else?" I asked. "Yes one more never bleed." And with that he turned away and walked back Down the hall. I was standing in front of Leo's door. I was confused on the last part of what he said but I can manage with that information or could I?

I took a deep breath and knocked on his door.
