Chapter Sixteen: Sol

Leo's breathing slowed and his body relaxed. I sighed deeply as I started to braid his hair. I glanced at the clock on the bed side table it read 2:30am. I felt sorry for him all his nightmares keeping him awake at night unable to return to a peaceful sleep. How long as he had to do this? Facing his fears all alone in the darkness. Tears streamed down my face I bit my lip and held him closer. He will never have to do it again not while I'm around. I kisses his head and closed my eyes waiting for sleep to take me.

Next morning I awoke I didn't feel the warmth of Leo beside me. I flung my arms out in search of his body. The spot beside me was empty. I opened my eyes quickly and yawned. Leo's room had only a small amount of light in his room it came from under the door from out in the hallway.

"Leo?" I yawned again as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I didn't get an answer I attempted to fix my hair out of nervousness. I kicked off the thick blankets and shivered it was freezing in here. "He better not of have left me He knows I have no idea how to get around." I mumbled as I climbed out of the bed and walked across the room to the bathroom. I knocked on the door before peeking in. He wasn't in there I walked over to the walk in closet and looked, he wasn't there either. "Damn you Leo." I yelled as I heard the bedroom door open. "What?"

I turned to see Leo He stood there with a tray of food. He wore a pair of blue faded jeans that hugged his narrow hips. The grey button shirt down he wore hugged his chest to reveal his muscular frame. My insides went crazy. "I left to get you something to eat." He explained as I walked over to him and the tray. On the tray there was two plates filled with waffles and fresh strawberries with a side of breakfast sausages. I blushed. "I thought you left and well I didn't want to get lost." I said in a whisper.

He turned to place the tray of food on the side table. Then sat on the bed he made leg crossing look so easy. I took a chance and skipped over to him and climbed on to the bed and sat between his legs. He placed the tray over my legs and took his plate. I watched him as he picked up a sausage to eat. His small fangs poked out as he opened his mouth. I wanted to touch them, to feel them on me. I turned bright red at the thought. I quickly turned away to eat my plate of food.

Leo finished before I did. "Vi wants to start your training today about noon." He started off watching and waiting for me to reply."That sounds fun I'll be ready for her then, but what do I do you start training with Demetri before that." I said as I finished my waffle. "Well there are others here and I'm sure they are wanting to meet you." He said as he slid off the bed and stretched.

"Remember noon no later or else Vireo don't be happy with you." He said as he headed towards the door. "Oh and here." He tossed me a paper airplane. "It's a map." He explained to me as I opened it up. I looked up to say thanks but he was gone.

I sat it aside and went to shower I will have to meet Vi soon. I dressed in Leo's cloths. They smelled so good and they fit well sorta. I laughed at how silly I looked in his cloths. I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail then grabbed the map and headed out to look for Vireo.

I found my way down to the main floor after walking down 2 flights of stairs. I saw someone. "Excuse me do you know where I can find Vireo?" I asked the tall red head. "Well you see...hey your Leo's tamer?!" She hugged me. "Can't breath." I said she let me go. "Oops." She giggled. "I'm Sol yes, Leo's master." I said. "Well I'm Molly." She said with a grin. "And Vireo is in her office which you can't go too." I looked at her. "I can't?" She shook her head. "No it's forbidden." She answered. "Oh forbidden well I'll just go and wait outside for her." I said turning on heel and running off to the forbidden wing.

Surprisingly I didn't need to map to find the wing since Leo and I had been in it before.

I strolled in and the lights were lit and the palace was much more clean and the air was fresh smelling. "Vireo oh Vireo!" I sang as I skipped down the hall. "Sol is that you?" I heard a voice it came from the room to my right. I skipped in to Vireo's office. "I'm here for training." I said stopping in the doorway.

I admired Vireo as she sat there at a big desk that was covered in papers. I had no idea She had to do so much work. "That's nice to know Sol but this wing is mine and Viktor's not for people to enter at will." She said as she put papers away. "I know that but I couldn't help myself." I said in defense to her scolding me. "Well Sol everyone else does so I expect the same from you." She said as she stood up.

Wow I was shock this Vireo was different from the Vireo I met yesterday. She was more adult now I didn't like it. "Understood?" She continued. I looked up at her. "Yes understood." "Good now go and wait outside I'll be there in a moment." I sighed and did as told.
