Chapter Twelve: Sol

"Leo if I fail today or tommorow or the day after in training, if I s how any sign of weakness don't stop ok." His eyes widened. "What?!" He said in a loud voice. "Don't stop attacking or whatever has to be done. I habe to conquer all fears I have to be able to be a good master. You of all people deserve that." I explained. His beast red eyes were filled with anger. "You are crazy. I'll kill you." He said through gritted teeth. "No you won't!" I said. "How can you be so sure of it?" He asked me looking at me dead in the eyes. "Because Leo I trust you and I trust myself with you." I said talking towards him. "I will becomes strong Leo I will learn not to be afraid beacuse you are meant to be mine!" I added I watched him his body shaming with rage.

I waited for him to yell or push me aside but he didn't instead he pulled me into his arms. I could feel his whole body tremble with anger or was it fear prephaps something more, was I getting to him? "Sol I don't want to hurt you I don't want you to be afraid of me." He said his voice a low whisper in my ear. I just stood there hold ing him breathing him in. "If I do fear you ill only be for a little while I've never tamed some one is big."

I felt myself blush but I was glad I hidden in his arm so he could not see. "Ok let's go I'm ready." I said trying to push away and out of his hug. "I'm not." His voice said I pushed again and he finally left go. I looked up to him and his was hidden behind his hair again. I pushed it aside and cupped his face the best I could. Times like these make me hate my small size. "We will get through this together now come on."

Leo as always lead the way since I have yet to get a map. He held my hand I felt as if it would disappear into his large hand.

It took only a few minutes to make it down stairs but that alone was a work out. I fell to my knees and laid there on the floor like a fool gasping for air. "You should exercise more." Leo said to me as I stood up and brushed myself off. "No the stairs should be shorter." I mumbled "or she could build an escalator." I added as Leo held open the door for me to walk out. I stepped outside and took deep breaths nature was here to awaken me once more. I felt alive and energized by all of it.

I looked up and saw the red haired vireo girl again she was sitting crossed legged on the ground across from Demetri. How did they beat us outside? I asked myself as I ran over to them. I jumped of Vi and rubbed my cheeks against hers. She Disnt seemed bothered by it so I did it again. "Hello Sol." She said to me as I stopped."can we play in the dirt once training is over?" I asked she smiled at me. "If you haven't enough once training is over." She answered. Leo took a seat beside Demetri. "As long as it rains I don't care." I said smiling as I Sat beside her.

"So are you guys ready?" She asked and I'm reply Leo and I both nodded. Vireo and Demetri both stood up and took a few steps back. Demetri drew a very large circle one the dirt. "This is a fight circle." I gasped as Vi explained Leo and Demetri chuckled. I grew very nervous now all my fears come alive I fear I won't be good enough like Leo's old master.

"First thing in training is to have confidence. If you second guess yourself or pause while making a decision the beast will use it against you. The second is dominance you have to over power the beast." Vireo looked mostly at the both of us is there something I'm missing? "It must obey not only the master but his body." Vireo continued but Demetri took over for the last one. "The last one is love. Love unconditionally love with out fear or doubt." His eyes glanced at Vireo and I felt myself blush. "Now sol you've trained and tamed lions tigers bears and wolves?" I nodded. "Well you could use nearly the same methods only they'll need to be tinkered with when dealing with Leonardo." Demetri said. I nodded once again I took all the information in and tried to wrap my brain around it all.

"There is only one rule when in the circle sol." Vireo said. "And that is?" I questioned. "Whatever you do don't let him near you." She said I sighed. "Yeah that'll be easy." I said sarcastically as I stood up. " taming is like bonding and I can't bond from a distance." I said as I stepped into the circle or what they called the ring. I chuckled beacuse. I got the pun haha a circle is a ring so they call it that. Sol get your mind in place ugh. I pep talk myself.
