Chapter Thirteen: Leo (Beast)

"Are you sure about this?" I asked her as I too stepped in to the ring. She nodded Vi stepped forward and held a small blade in her hand." Sol open your hand." Vi ordered and of course without hesitation she so. She slid the sharp blade across her hand and all I saw was red then black.

I could feel the beast coming alive my fangs elongated  my claws grew sharper. My sences kicked into overdrive and soon I will lose all control of who I am. I fought hard to not attack her but I did. I ran at her my fangs bared. She dodged the first attack this only angered the beast.

He quickly gripped he up by the neck his claws cut in to her skin. "No." I kept telling him but the he never listens. Sol She dangled from his grasp gasping for air. I fought hard "Its ok Leo it's ok you can do it..  ." She was losing air I fought the beast I needed to save her.

"Let her go." Demetri stepped in my beast could sense the power in him. He was stronger than I. My beast feared his as did as told. "Deme go away I can handle this." Sol said from her knees in front of me.

All I, he wanted was blood just one taste of her blood. He would get it no matter what. Sol charged at me and somehow knocked me to the ground. I cheered for her on the inside. The beast was raging never had he been pushed down by something so weak he snapped at her. Sol moved quickly and bit down on my ear lobe. I was confused but it must have been some sort of mastering skill. "You mister need to clam down I habe to tame you this has to work."she said but the beast was not one to bargain with. He kicked her off of him and pinned her down into the dirt. I gave over the the beast the need for blood was to strong.  He bit down sinking his fangs into her delicate skin.

Her blood was something new something sweet and sour so tangy. To him She tasted of freedom and he wanted more. A sharp pain shot through me He fell back and there She was once again staring me down. "Sol?" I begged to be freed I begged the beast to retreat back inside his cage. "Leo?" She looked at me her eyes full of determination. She leaned closer and closer then finally I could feel her soft warm lips pressed against mine.

The beast died inside leaving only me. I wrapped my arms around her tiny figure and I held her close to me She was still bleeding. But my mind was lost in this kiss. In this mere moment I knew I would stop at nothing to keep her safe. She was mine and mine alone.

I smelled rain and formally came up for air. Sol looked at me then up to the sky. "Its raining!" She squealed. I knew it was Vi's doing I thanked her with a slight head nod. I stood up holding sol in my arms it was only now did I see the true extent of her injuries. Vi stepped in to heal her Sol Wat he'd on amazement. "Does this mean we can play in the rain now?" She asked " I think rest is best but a little rain never hurt anyone." Vi answered with a smile. Sol held my hand giving it a gently squeeze before letting go. She ran after Vi to tackle her to the dirt. She was like a small kid as well these little things are what people hold close to them. And for once I can save a good memory instead of a bad one. This made me smile I wanted all my happy memories to be of her of my beast master. The beast roared inside me and I knew there wad much work to do but for today I am Leo a care free happy guy. I laughed and ran after the others as the rain poured down.
