Ever since the company gave Yeonjun an event to manage, the male has been really preoccupied these days. He was going back and forth to these studios and shops to make sure everything is organized. Even the place where the said event will take place is being handled by him too.

The guy's exhausted but he still does his best. He couldn't afford to make this fail—especially that this is his first event and everything is based on his idea. Yeonjun might not like having been placed in his position as the head director of their company but he still takes his job seriously.

After all, he was raised to be responsible.

Soobin noticed this occurrence of course, and he grew worried that Yeonjun might be overworking himself. He's aware it sounds ironic coming from him yet he couldn't help but be concerned over the older male. He hardly stays at their house and he even comes back later than Soobin sometimes which made the younger stay up until Yeonjun returns.

In the morning, Yeonjun would leave early that they weren't be able to have breakfast together like usual. There are times when Soobin would be bothered when he won't see any dishes in the sink, which could only mean that Yeonjun skipped his breakfast and went straight to work. It troubled Soobin so much that he got fed up and decided that he'll sacrifice his sleep and wake up earlier to pack meals for him and Yeonjun.

He confronted the other about this already, but Yeonjun only told him not to worry and that he'll be done soon anyway. However, days passed by and Yeonjun was still working his ass off.

Because of that, it brought Soobin to this decision to try and convince the company to let him help Yeonjun—but without the elder knowing.

Now, how can he possibly do that?

Well, you see.

You just have to be able to pull some strings.

Soobin entered an office and immediately spotted the man he's looking for working on some papers on his table. He walked over some more and stopped just in front of the table and made his appearance known, "Chairman Choi."

The elder man raised his head up and was surprised to see Soobin in there. He removed his glasses off and told Soobin to take a seat. The younger complied and sat down.

"Soobin, what brings you here? I'm afraid I wasn't informed that we have a scheduled meeting today. And please just call me uncle, no need to be so formal."

"It is sudden actually, uncle. If anything, I must even apologize for not making a schedule with you."

"Ah, no worries about that, you're family." Soohyun assured with a kind smile.

Although that smile was quickly wiped off when he realized something, "I assume you're not here because of a simple meeting, are you?"

Soobin nodded his head and brought out a folder from his black suitcase before handing it over to the puzzled man.

Yeonjun's father got the folder and examined the files inside, his expression being taken over by a frown. "What is this?" he asked.

"It's a proposal." Soobin said as he watched the elder man read the papers he made himself. "I want to ask your permission to let me help Head Director Choi in organizing his given project. It wasn't in my plan at first to get involved, sir, but I noticed him being too consumed lately that he's beginning to neglect himself and I'm worried about him—I mean, about the event." He swiftly corrected himself.

That was close.

He isn't about to risk confessing his feelings to his husband's father, okay?

Not like there's something to confess but you know? Have to avoid misunderstandings.
