Love is the calm before the storm.
It isn't the roaring thunders and flickering lightning.
Love is the kind to make you feel comfortable and safe and you think for the meantime that nothing could ever disrupt the peace until the dreaded catastrophe comes.
It isn't always smiles and laughter, not always filled with sunshines and rainbows with butterflies flying around to complete the beautiful setting. There would be times when tears have to fall like rainshowers and the stillness would be ruined like a perfect storm. You'll get wounded up and the pain might be unbearable at some point that you couldn't help it and think of giving up.
But then you'll remember the reason why you took the risk.
And then suddenly, the hope will rise and you'd know that every mishap will come to an end.
Love is maddening.
You just have to find someone who's willing to be crazy with you.
Yeonjun sits throughout the ceremony with that thought in mind, watching his two friends exchanging their vows at the end of the aisle. He feels happy for them, glad that these two found each other and are both insane enough to come to this decision of promising to be there for the other for the rest of their lives—with these people standing as their witnesses, himself included.
The brown haired male's eyes travelled towards Mark and Donghyuck as they insert their rings into each other's fourth finger; indicating that after this event, they'll be bound to the other for years to come.
Until they decide they want to be free.
That sentence broke a part of Yeonjun. He gazes at his hand and stares at his own ring, he wonders how much time he got left until he no longer wears it anymore.
Will he long to see it resting there on his finger once it's gone? Or will he feel relief to see that finger unoccupied?
Somehow, he believes the second question won't receive a three-lettered answer.
However, his thoughts came to dissipate as he saw another hand reach out to hold his—wearing the very same thing as he does.
He turned his head to his right to spare the owner a glance, only to see him focused on somewhere else; that being towards the couple in front. Still, his hand moves into its own accord to intertwine it with the brunette's, unaware that the action offers the male comfort.
And with that small gesture, Yeonjun smiles to himself and allow his own hand to hold Soobin's hand in return.
Hand in hand, they wait until the ceremony is over.
___
Loud cheers of congratulatory greeted the newly-wedded couple. They were now sat in front, with their guests celebrating across them as they all assembled in the wedding's reception.
The location is on this one lovely garden in Seoul, they managed to turn it into a really breathtaking place for a wedding, kind of like the one you imagine in a fairytale book. It all makes sense though since the couple looks enchanted themselves, so this whole garden concept turned them into a sort of magical fairies saying their "I do's".
The venue was filled with different types of flowers; the aisle they walked on was a red and white rose petals path. Even the guests' chairs were surrounded with fragrant bouquets. Everything just looks so enchanting and it didn't falter when everyone got to move to the reception to further celebrate.
