Alexis sighed to herself as she stood in the car park as she looked to Iain and smiled "I should be coming with you. I can cancel counselling" Iain said as Alexis shot him a look "no, you won't. Your going. You need to go and open up. Your struggling a lot lately and I know that you are and it's going to be okay. I can go for a scan without you" she said as he looked to her and smiled "I just don't want to let you down" Iain said as Alexis looked to him and smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek and smiled "your not. I promise. It's going to be okay. We are going to be okay" she said as she placed a hand on her bump as Iain looked to her and smiled as he leant in and kissed her passionately and smiled

Alexis watched as he walked off. She walked off into the ED and towards maternity. She rested her hand on her bump and sighed as she sent Iain a text wishing him good luck. She loved him and hoped that the counselling would work and it scared her. She didnt want him to struggle anymore as she knew he was having a hard time. She ran her hands through her hair and sighed "Alexis swan?" She heard the nurse call. She smiled as they asked into the room and sat in the bed and smiled as the nurse started to do a scan. She heard the sound of a heartbeat and smiled "would you like the oboe the sex?" "Sure" Alexis said "it looks like your having a little girl" the nurse said as Alexis smiled. She was happy and excited to have her little girl but she was also scared at the same time

Alexis sat in the ambulance with Iain as they went on a call out. She sat eating a kebab as he looked to her and smirked "I don't think I have seen ypu this happen since I got you into bed" he said as she looked to him and smirked "which time?" She asked as he chuckled. She smirked as she pushed her hair out of her face and looked to him and smiled "it's going to be okay isn't it. I know neither of us planned on having a baby but we are and it's scary" Alexis said as Iain looked to her and smiled "it is but it's going to be okay. Your going to be fine I know that you are" Iain said as she looked to him and smiled

Alexis stood outside of resus and sighed. She was scared. She had found a little girl who had been knocked off of a bike and was worried. She ran her hands through her hair as Iain walked out of the room "well?" She asked as he sighed "she didn't make it" he said as he walked over to her and hugged her and smiled "I'm sorry" he said as she sobbed. She knew it was upsetting her because of her hormones. Little did Alexis know how it was all a mess and only about to get worse
