In most stories, you hear about how the girl is afraid to love; how she was so hurt before and couldn't picture herself being happy in love.
But in our story, it wasn't the girl.
Daniel James Seavey. The most beautiful, genuine, and talented boy. He was stubborn. He was broken. He looked at partying and girls as a distraction from his view of love. He refused to show his feelings, let alone talk about them, despite how much he wanted to.
Malia Kennedy was different, however. She was there for him in a way most weren't. She made him want to be able to love. But there was still something holding him back.
