it had never been your intention to make felix angry, much less have it escalate into an argument. everything had just completely slipped your mind, causing you to leave your boyfriend in the dark for a good three days. of course, you had meant to inform him of your reason behind being m.i.a, but as always, it had slipped your mind amidst the heap of responsibilities.

so, when you at last answered one of his thousands of phone calls you were not expecting to receive a scolding. you had played it off as a joke at first, but your smile soon faded at the realization that your boyfriend was not in fact being light-hearted and had, in fact, been genuinely upset. he was a natural worrier, especially when it came to you and he always had the worst-case scenario at the forefront of his mind when it came to such situations.

“oh, c’mon lix, you of all people would understand that i was just busy.”

“yeah, but at least i always let you know ahead of time!”

feeling immediately guilty for allowing his suppressed emotions to get the best of him, he’d want to do everything he could to make things better. even though it wasn’t the most serious of altercations, he would be unable to go about his day unknowing of whether or not you two were on good terms.
