Chapter 11 - Soobin

Y/N's POV
I decided Soobin should be first.

And now currently, I am at a cafe with him-
In silence.

This is really awkward...

"this cafe hasn't changed much has it" Soobin says breaking the silence as I look at him.

"pardon?"

Soobin just laughs at me before gesturing around us, "don't you remember?"

I look at him cocking an eyebrow

He expects me to remember a cafe where I apparently hung out with him?

Wait-

I immediately lean back wide-eyed as Soobin just doubles over

"No way.." I say as he finally contains himself, "this is the cafe?!???"

"It hasn't changed much Y/N" Soobin responds in a smug voice

"Oh shut up."

He just smirks in response as we sip our drinks in silence

"Those were the good old days" Soobin says chuckling to more himself than me

"Days like that end." I respond sadly as he flicks my forehead

"Because you don't look forward to them anymore. They are still here though" Soobin says smiling

"Now since when were you a therapist?"

Soobin just laughs in response and stares at me, "you know when you first were my biology partner-"

I interrupt him groaning, "please don't remind me"

Soobin just scowls at me playfully, "don't interrupt"

I waved at him dismissively and he rolls his eyes at me.

"Anyways, you kept making these silly expressions that were so funny" Soobin continues now shaking with laughter

I just gape at him

I made weird expressions...?

"When?"

"I just said when you were first my biology partner," Soobin playfully looks offended and concerned, "doesn't that make sense yet?"

"No?"

Soobin groans shaking his head, "seriously?"

I look at him cocking an eyebrow that said it all.

"Why don't you think about what you were doing that day" Soobin suggests taking more sips from his drink

Hmm...
What i was doing that day...

Let's see...our teacher just made the biology partners and I don't remember anything about her lecture...
I don't think I was paying attention.

That's all I seem to remember but...
I guess I did slightly catch Soobin seemingly laughing at me as I left the room.

"Maybe you didn't realize that you were making faces" Soobin interrupts my class thoughts and brings me back to Earth.

"After all you weren't even paying attention to the teacher" he continues, snickering

So i wasnt paying attention.

"I think I know what you were talking about." I finally say taking a sip of my drink.

"So?" Soobin says staring at me

I just stare back confused.
What is he waiting for?
Staring at me for?

Oh wait-

"I didn't really like how I had to sit next to you" I said looking at him guilty

Soobin just looks at me with a poker face before bursting out laughing.

"That honestly explains a lot," Soobin says as he twirls with his straw

I watch him closely. He hasn't honestly changed...

"Yoooooo?" Soobin waves his hand in front of me as I snap out of it

"Oh sorry, i just realized that you havent changed much"

"Thank god for that," soobin says chuckling, "I rather not change"

...

"Unlike you," he continues pointing at me, "your more sorrowful and sensitive."

I just stare at him

Soobin sighs before getting up somehow paying the check without me realizing

"Well I think I made my point clear. See you on the sixth day Y/N" Soobin cracks his sly smile before walking away.

I sit there for around one minute before I fall him thinking about what just went down.

Did I really change?
