The Moon is Beautiful Isn't It?

Rumors has it that there exists demons that devours humans for their positions. By positions, it is what we call the 12 Demon Moons or 12 Kazukis. Demolishing humans is a source of strength and power for the demons. The more humans they eat the stronger they are. The more powerful they become, they will be recognized by the progenitor. But that was in the history since Demon Slayers succeeded in vanquishing the said progenitor. 

Or did they?

After all it was all just rumors. What they called the Demon Slayers are not known very much in public or by the government. They work because it is their job. They don't get paid. They don't get recognized. They don't get appreciated by the public. They work on their own. Truly, they wanted to work without bringing trepidation to mankind.

For them, demons are wicked creatures that devastate the lives of the innocent. Regardless of their comportment, a demon is a demon. They won't hesitate on annihilating them until they dissipate. Besides, the demon slayers consists of talented individuals who possess flair and capacity that were agonized by the execution of the demons. 

According to the townspeople, demons were completely perished. That even the demon slayers became inactive of their activities. 

How did they come up to this conclusion?

Simply because the village is one of the affected areas that was assaulted by the so called demons. Many had suffered to the point that the place is no longer called a village, but ruins. However, demon slayers do they duty that they even helped the village to build back their homes and call it a village again.

But...did the endless suffering from hell already ended?

Hopefully, because happiness cannot be maintained forever. 

There is an end to it.

You just have to rely on fate to find out about it.

"The moon is a celestial object that was created to bring light to the darkness of the night." A man named Murayami Hirashi said and offered a cup of hot coffee to the young woman.

It was late at night when the woman was found gazing into the moon. Her petite body is still full with bruises and injuries. But they are slowly healing because of the treatment given to her by the doctor who is currently her guardian. 

"It is beautiful." Having received the cup, she replied.

In her mind, she remembered a memory relating to the subject. 

The moon is beautiful, isn't it?

However, she wondered, whom did that statement referred to? Or how did that sentence came up just now? She knew about her memory loss, perhaps it is a piece that is part of her shattered memory? 

No answers were given.

Questions remained unanswered, rather.

But is it important?

Feeling. 

Feel. 

She feels empty. 

The memory loss seemed to get her out of her previous character. Since she decided continue living, despite the fact that life is cruel. She knew that she wasn't supposed to live after suffering critical injuries. 

She doesn't remember herself. 

She doesn't like the fact that it was true.

Until now she wondered, why is everything appeared to be fake?
