➢ How He Looks After You When You're Sick

Lando Norris
He knows that the team won't just let him leave to look after you, especially on the days where his hours are long. He's too scared to just leave so has to put his 'big brain' to work. Whilst you're at home alone and feeling like you're on the verge of death, Lando doesn't stop thinking about you. Eventually, he decides to consult Carlos to help him fake an illness to allow him to get home. The pair manage to perfectly pull it off every time with a fake temperature (he stuck his head to the radiator) or some fake vomit, which Carlos made especially using some old food from the canteen. Nobody questioned it and Lando was always eventually urged to go home. He faked reluctance, but practically sprinted to his car the moment their backs were turned. By midday, he was always back home with the love of his life. He also buys you your favourite soups on his journey home when you've got the sickness bug and it's only thing that you seem to be able to keep down.

From then on, everyday until you got better, he phoned in sick. He wants to stay by your side to provide you with anything you needed because nothing mattered more to him than making sure you were okay.

Max Verstappen
You don't often get sick, but when you do, it feels like your body has given up. The flu was no different. Every small movement your body made pained you, every whisper burned your throat, every smell made you dizzy.

Max never liked it when you got ill because he hated feeling helpless. Your sleepless nights would keep him awake out of worry, and during the day he rarely moved from your side unless it was to get something for you. The most he could do, since he couldn't magically make you better, was to distract you. He would read to you, put on your favourite films, and sing soft melodies just to see you smile. Even when you felt significantly better, he insisted on staying with you until the illness had completely gone. By then, he usually would've contracted whatever virus you had had so the roles would be reversed. You took care of each other when needed out of love, and there was nothing but love between you.

Charles Leclerc
You always tried to keep your illnesses from Charles for as long as possible as he had a tendency to get a little dramatic. Whenever he was sick, he could brush it off so easily, however when it came to you, he would go into full panic mode.

When he got the first indicator that something was wrong with your health, he would head straight to the local pharmacy and purchases every possible medicine that could help you feel better. You never ran out of tissues because he would buy ten boxes of them, and the food cupboard had a designated section for foods that were easily digestible (if your illness impacted the stomach). You were grateful that he took care of you so well, but sometimes wished that he would stop worrying so much.

Carlos Sainz
You hated admitting you were sick whenever infected with a bug as you didn't want to appear weak. Your job was the most important thing to you, other than your family and Carlos, so you didn't want to miss a day. Carlos respected this and, instead of forcing you to stay home, he would buy you enough medicine to block out the symptoms so you could still go to work. He didn't want you to, but knew better than to argue with someone as stubborn as you.

Carlos knew you better than anybody so knew where your limits were. Every time you went to work sick, he would stay by his phone all day until you eventually caved in. No matter what time you called him, day or night shift, he would drive straight to your work and pick you up. Only when you accepted you were ill, he would take care of you for what you needed. You loved him even more for this and realised how lucky you were to have a man who understands what you want and need.
