Chapter 5: A. A.

Chat Noir's POV

"What the hell type of reaction is that?!" she basically scowled at me. Welp, this was not going as planned. I though she might act at least the tiniest bit excited.

flustered I answered, "What do you mean?! That is a totally normal reaction!" I said it so unconvincingly though, like I didn't buy it myself. Scratching the back of my neck nervously she gave me a witty comeback.

"Really kitty? You know, you look pretty nervous." She gave me a smirk. She had nothing to hide now that I know about her mark, not that I didn't know about it.

"What are you talking about? I don't get nervous." Suddenly I could feel my hands getting hot, and I felt like I was suffocating. Not only that though, my stomach felt like hundreds of akumas were flying in it. And when did my suit get so hot?

I tried to calm down and give her a better answer, but really why did I have to go and say 'thank god'? It wasn't a very good answer in the first place and seemed to offend her.

"Umm... I'm sorry if you feel offended princess, but I don't thing I could handle it if it wasn't you or ladybug." I smirked at the end and grabbed her hand to try and bring it to my lips. She almost immediately pushed me away by the nose. 'Why did that feel so familiar? Almost like déjà vu.' Before I could think about it anymore she started to talk.

"Oh, right I totally forgot that you are in love with ladybug, you see I'm totally fine with that."

"What? But your my soulmate, shouldn't you feel like part of you is missing?" As I said this of course, there was some dramatic gestures.

"Well you see Chat, you are in love with ladybug, and I am clearly not her. And I am in love with Adr-- ummm... someone else."

"Oooooooooo is Marinette in love! Do I know him?"

Marinette's POV

"Oooooooooo is Marinette in love! Do I know him?"

"ABSOLUTELY!"

"Really who?!"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT! I meant absolutely not." Panic was clearly written on my face as I turned around to avoid Chats confused look.

"I'm not buying it. Now quit lying and tell me the truth, I know him don't I?"

"Maybe you do maybe you don't, I've never seen you guys together before, I'm not telling you because I barely know you!" Of course I had to lie about the last part, I know almost everything there is to know about Chat Noir. Other than his identity of course.

"Just give me his initials! I only want to know who it is because this is the person who has caught my soulmates heart, besides you know who owns mine."

"Chat I understand but in my defence, all of Paris knows who owns your heart!"

Basically begging on his hands and knees "Please princess, that way if he hurts you, I can find him and beat the crap out of him!"

"Fine. But only his initials for now. Maybe later I will tell you who he is. His initials are---"

"WAIT, I need a piece of paper first. So that I don't forget."

"CHAT." (Imagine Mari's face 100% done)

"Fine. Go on."

"A. A."

"Well, sure didn't need a paper for that, now did we."
