Chapter 9: Oh Kitty,

Adrien's POV

"Plagg how could I not know that Marinette knows Ladybug? You would think she would have told me way earlier considering I'm her soulmate!"

"Maybe Ladybug doesn't want anyone to know Marinette knows her." Plagg huffed eating his Camembert.

"But then wouldn't Ladybug tell me? Oh hey Chat Noir I know your soulmate personally and she knows who I am by the way!"

"That imitation was 'spot on'."Plagg snickered.

"You know what, I'll talk to Ladybug on patrol tomorrow and ask why she didn't tell me." I declared to no one in general.

~le time skip to the next day at school~

I was slowly taking notes in Ms. Bustiers class about the French Revolution and guillotines, there was only an hour left in class. I didn't take extensive notes because I had learnt about this with Natalie when I was home schooled. Man, I am so glad my father let me go to François DuPont. I was interrupted from my thoughts when a brightly dressed woman with what looked to be 3 foot heels, burst through the door. Naturally, she started yelling something about Chloé. As usual Chloé had managed to piss off another sales person at one of her store raids.

"I am Statuesque! The tallest woman in all of Paris here to make Chloé Bourgeois pay!" The woman screeched in a shrill voice.

Suddenly Statuesque started to fire blasts from her hands at everyone in the room. I quickly ducked under the desk and looked back to see Marinette do the same. Those who were hit were now 2 feet tall and were having trouble walking. Some how Chloé hadn't been hit yet, and instead of her normal yelling she stood up and tried to talk to the villain.

"There's no way I'm going to cower in front of you! A lowly sales clerk! like these turds over there! You're so short I bet you couldn't even reach the top of the counter at the store! And before you touch me let me remind you that my daddy will have you fired! Don't you even touch a hair on my head!" Chloé screeched in front of Statuesque.

The whole time Chloé was talking you could see that Statuesque was visibly getting more and more angry. Suddenly she grabbed Chloé and jumped out the window.

"Everyone find some place to hide! Evacuate the classroom!" Ms. Bustier calmly said.

As soon as she said that I bolted out of the classroom, only looking back to see Marinette doing the same. I needed to find a place to transform.

Marinette's POV

I need to find a place to transform. I ran into the nearest janitors closet.

"Tikki, how does Chloé manage to piss off everyone she comes across?"

"I don't know Marinette but by now I'd say she's got it down to a science!" Tikki giggled.

"We will figure it out later, right now Paris needs Ladybug! Tikki, spots on!" And with that I was colourfully transformed into Ladybug.

As I peeked out the door of the closet, I noticed that Statuesque and Chat Noir were already battling in the school. Chat Noir managed to lead her away, vaulting with his staff, to the roof of the building. Then they were out off sight.

I ran out of the closet and used my yo-yo to follow the fight until we got to the Eiffel Tower. Why do most battles end up here?
