As Eunbi, Johnny, Mark, and Ten all became a tight knit of friends, Jaehyun was off in America on an adventure on his own. When he comes back he is in for a surprise, but not before he completes his secret training.
A month or two passed by quickly as the days began to feel shorter and shorter as I hung out with the gang more and more often. They were a fun group of people, I see why Johnny liked them so much. The group chat was full of memes at this point and was total chaos, but I have a feeling that Mark had the right idea with making a group chat, because who doesn’t want to just sit and talk about memes with your best friends all day?
Christmas was around the corner and a few students had got the college staff to agree to throw a Christmas party. I was excited to say the least, but I had no clue what to get for anyone. What would they even like? I know for Johnny all it takes is me being there to make him happy, but I’d still like to get him something too.
I decided to go to town during the weekend while Johnny and the rest were at Eunbi’s dorm playing games. They didn’t ask too many questions about it but were a little disappointed that I didn’t join them for their great game of ‘Sorry’, which they guaranteed was going to be “the party of a lifetime”, though knowing them they’re all probably juice in a circle eating sweet bread like pastries and slurping on banana milk while Ten whines about losing so much.
Thinking about it made me realize that they only played board games on Sundays, and it made me start to map out Eunbi and Mark’s dorm room. Did any of them own any gaming consoles at all? Suddenly I had a bright idea that was just about to make Christmas a little more pixelated!
I went into a local store called ‘game space’ and started looking around for some stuff. Me being a college student, though, didn’t have much money and the consoles I was looking at were a little pricey. I began to think about how all of us could all play together? These consoles fit up to four players max, and there were five of us. Though Johnny does skip out on some days because he is lame and insists on studying.
I decided I was okay with taking turns if all we could fit is four players, and I’m sure the others are cool with taking turns too. I bought the newest Playstation and several cool multiplayer games to go with it. The 2013 that was nearing closer each day was beginning to look a lot brighter. Hopefully...
I got home and wrapped up the presents and hid them away under my bed in a large shoe box. Surely nobody would be going through a shoe box, but if they did I’d be concerned with why they were looking. Who wants to look at shoes!?
Just then I got a text from the group chat:
Eunbean; Y’all look at how sweet they are!! My heart hurts ♡♡♡

Eunbean; The first one, but now that you bring it up, I want a chocolate milkshake.
Jae’s Milkshake; alright well, I’m already back but I’ll head out to get us some shakes then come for some quality games. Any requests?

I just laughed and turned off my phone, sliding it into my pocket. I guess I had to go back out to buy us all milkshakes. That was cool, I still had a bit of money left that I was willing to spend anyway.
I left the dorms and went out, walking around town trying to find the local shake place. Maybe I’d pick us up some burgers too.
I finally got there and placed all our orders, and got some burgers and fries too just so we all wouldn’t be hungry. I got our food and headed back to the dorm as fast as can to prevent the food from getting cold.
I knocked on Eunbi’s dorm and came in on Mark about to beat Ten with his sneaker.
“Woah! Chill out there kids, I brought shakes and food too. No need to kill each other.”
Everyone got up and crowded me for their food and drink while Mark sat on the floor with a pouty face, “Ten was flirting with Eunbi though…”
I threw him his burger, “Yeah well Ten is a flirty old man, what can ya do?”
Mark had a smile slowly grow on his face as he unwrapped his burger. I handed everyone else their food as well and then handed out the shakes.
I sat down and Johnny sat next to me, “Speaking of flirty old men; hey baby welcome back. Thanks for getting us our food and drinks. Love you.”
My entire body got shivers, “W o a h there Johnny, what was that?? I didn’t know you were that type of excited to see me! I don’t swing that way bro.”
Johnny laughed and punched my shoulder “Get out of here, I’m just messing with you. I like someone else.”
“Oh? You like someone? Who?”
Everyone else leaned in also wondering who this person was.
Johnny looked around the room then back to me and smiled, “Secret. I’ll tell you guys some other time.”
I took a big bite of my burger and shook my head, “Whatever you say man,” I swallowed, “I bet Mark and Ten like someone too.” I winked.
“Woah what? Oh no man, that's just how we are. Well at least for me, I don’t know about Ten…” Mark mumbled the last part.
“I don’t know, I might like Eunbi.” Ten proudly stated.
Eunbi on the other hand got as pale as a ghost and looked over to Ten with wide eyes, “What…” She mumbled with burger in her mouth.
