---Julia's POV---
I arrived at the shrine. Hisa was there, sweeping.

"I was told she was here." I stated.

"Give her time." Hisa stated. "She's praying to her mother for guidance."

"Why does she want to do this?" I asked.

"Because," Hisa replied. "µ's was Honoka's contribution to Otonokizaka. Yuna want to honour that contribution." Hisa pulled out a card.

"What?" I asked.

"Looks like you will be in for a shock tomorrow." Hisa stated. I sighed and shook my head.

"Hisa," I asked. "Do you think that I should give-"

"Take your time." Hisa stated. "But trust me, this is your destiny as well." Hisa walked away. Since our childhood, she has always been weird. However, I do love her for it.

"Hey Julia." A voice said behind me. It was Haruki Kosaka. I knew his sweet voice from anywhere. To be honest, I kind of have a crush on him. However, I knew he would turn me down. We were best friends growing up. Plus, any girl that confesses their love to him gets turned down. I turned around and smiled.

"Hi." I said. "W-what brought you here?"

"Yuna is here." Haruki stated. "I thought I better take her home. This idol thing is getting intense. I worry about her, y-you know?"

"Yeah," I replied. "I get it. In a way." Haruki took a step forward.

"Still mad at your mom?" Haruki asked.

"Yes." I growled. "I don't want to look at her ever again."

"Don't say that." Haruki stated. "Take it from me. I just turned 12 when my mom died. These five years have been tough on us. Dad has tried his best, but he did struggle a lot. It was never the same without mom." Yuna walked over us.

"Haruki?" Yuna asked. "What are you-"

"I can to make sure you make it home safe sis." Haruki stated. "It's my job as your brother."

"Can we have a moment Haruki?" I asked. Haruki nodded and walked off.

"What is it Julia-Senpi?" Yuna asked.

"I have to say," I stated. "I am quite impressed with your work. However, I must ask you, do you plan to keep going with this?"

"Of course," Yuna replied. "I have to push forward. For my mom."

"Why bother?" I asked. "Have you checked your rankings?"

"We may have only gone up by one," Yuna stated. "But the rankings isn't what I am after. It's my mom's legacy. Something that I can be proud of, unlike you." I raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" I snarled.

"Your mom was talking to my aunt," Yuna stated. "She said you were ashamed of her. What do you have against idols anyway? I wish to know." I sighed.

"I'd rather not admit anything," I stated. "Especially to you." I walked off and headed home.

"You will never amount to anything." My dance instructor snarled. "You might as well give up on being an idol."

I walked through the door and into the kitchen. Mom was at the table. I sighed and walked over to her.

"Mom." I stated. "I want to apologize. I shouldn't of been so angry at you. You were trying to protect me, I get it. I truly get it." Mom got up and hugged me. I hugged her back.

"Julia," Mom stated. "I get why you were mad. I wish I told you sooner. I wanted to, but I saw how Hisa, Eiko, and Ren were being treated and I didn't want the same thing happening to you. You're my baby girl and I hate seeing you hurt." Mom started crying.

"Mom?" I asked. "Are you okay?"

"No," Mom sobbed. "I don't know why I'm crying."

"Is it the flu?" I asked.

"Probably." Mom sobbed. Dad walked into the room.

"Maki called." Dad stated. "She wants you in at 8 a.m."

"Want me to come with you?" I asked.

"Sure." Mom stated.

"Good," Dad stated. "I have a meeting at 7:30 anyways."

---Eli's POV---
~The next morning~
"Mom," Julia assured me. "I'm sure it's nothing. You know how Dr. Nishikino gets with all her friends."

"Ever since we lost Honoka," I stated. "She refused to lose anyone else from µ's. I still remember two weeks before."

~March 20, 2034~
"No!" Maki screamed. "I told you to give her everything we got! She can't die! Not yet!"

"I'm sorry Dr. Nishikino," The nurse stated. "We tried all we could. However, there isn't anything more we can do." Maki sighed.

"At least let me tell Odalis." Maki pleaded. Maki walked out of the room. Nazomi and I followed her.

"Maki?" Nazomi asked. "Is everything okay?"

"She's going to die." Maki sobbed. "It's all my fault. We are not only losing a friend, but we are losing a piece of µ's. A very important piece might I add."

"You did everything you could." I stated. "But even with our advances in technology, we still don't have a cure for cancer."

"I refuse to let her die." Maki growled. "I refuse to let any of you die. Mark my words Eli." Maki stormed off. I looked at Nazomi and gulped.

"Elichi?" Nazomi asked. "Should we be concerned?"

"It's best to stay cautious." I replied. "Especially if she is suggesting she does illegal practices on us. If she wants to make sure we don't die, I'd rather have it done legally. You know me." Nazomi nodded.

"Right." Nazomi stated. We continued to follow Maki.

~Present Day~
Maki walked into the room, clipboard and a pile of brochures in hand. I got a glimpse of one that said "Being ______ over 30". I couldn't read the full thing.

"Dr. Nishikino?" Julia asked. "What's wrong with my mother?" Maki handed Julia a brochure. Julia's mouth dropped.

"Remember when I told you after Julia that it's impossible for you and Abram can no longer have kids?" Maki asked.

"Don't tell me-" I snarled.

"You are." Maki stated. "I'm just as shocked as you are. I will have to keep a closer eye on you." I began to cry. Julia dialled Abram's number.

"Hey dad," Julia stated. "Mom has.... News..... Yeah, hold on. I'm putting you on speaker." My eyes began to twitch.

"Eli?" Abram asked. "Are you okay?" I took a deep breath.

"Remember how we were told we couldn't have any more kids after Julia?" I asked. Abram stayed silent for a moment.

"Dammit Maki!" Abram screamed. "Why did you lie to us?!"

"We can be wrong too." Maki stated. "I didn't lie. I was just wrong." Abram sighed.

"Anything we both need to be aware of?" Abram asked.

"As far as I know," Maki stated. "The baby is healthy. Eli is 4 weeks along. Come back in a few weeks for a check up, okay?" I nodded.

"Okay," Abram stated. "I'm available May 2. Is that okay?"

"Yeah." Maki replied. "See you then." Julia hung up, then took my arm.

"Come on," Julia stated. "Let's go home."
