---Umi's POV---
My cellphone rang early one Sunday morning.

"Hello?" I answered. "This is Sonoda Umi."

"Hello Umi-Chan." A familiar voice said. "Remember me?"

"Kira Tsubasa," I beamed. "We haven't spoke since.... Well, never mind that. How is tour?"

"The usual," Tsubasa stated. "The older we get, the harder it is. Especially with Anju's twin sons. They're 10 years old and very hyper. Boys, am I right?"

"Maki has twins," I stated. "They will grow out of it."

"How old are they?" Tsubasa asked.

"Fourteen." I replied. "Maki's daughter actually started at Otonokizaka a few weeks ago. Any kids of your own?"

"One." Tsubasa replied. "I just adopted a baby girl from South Korea. Her name is Ji-Ae and she is six months. I love her already."

"I remember that feeling with Rio." I stated. "I fell in love with my daughter as soon as I laid eyes on her. Anyways, what's up?"

"I happen to be running Love Live! this year," Tsubasa stated. "I was hoping µ's can perform during half time at the dome in March. I know it isn't the same without Honoka, but we would love to have you girls." I sighed.

"I'll talk with everybody," I stated. "Knowing Nico, she will of spilt the beans already." Tsubasa chuckled.

"Let me know ASAP." Tsubasa replied. "Talk to you soon."

"Bye." I said. We hung up. I got onto the group chat.

"Nico-Nico-Ni!" Nico said in the chat. I sighed. At least there weren't 525,599 a day anymore.

"Guys," I said. "Tsubasa-chan contacted me. She wants µ's to perform."

"What?" Eli asked. "Is she insane?"

"Without Honoka," Maki pointed out. "We have no µ's."

"Without any of us," Rin stated. "We don't have µ's. When Nazomi, Nico, and Eli graduated, we disconnected µ's because we didn't want to do it without them. Honoka is dead. We can't perform without her."

"Plus," I stated. "We are older. Most of us can't move like we used to, with the exception of Eli and Rin."

"I mean," Katori stated. "Honoka would want us to do it."

"I agree." Nico stated.

"What do the cards say?" Hanayo asked. I held my breath. I cannot believe we are leaving it up to Nazomi's cards.

"According to the cards," Nazomi stated. "It will good for us. It is time for us to let go of the cloud of sorrow, representing Honoka's death, and go out there. In a way, Honoka will be with us. She still lives in Haruki and Yuna. Just like we all live in our children."

"So," I stated. "It is official. We perform at Love Live! for the first time in 24 years."

"Anybody feel old yet?" Maki asked.

"We'll meet up on Saturday at Honoka's Sweet Shop." Eli stated. "Like we always do."

"Would Odalis allow it?" Niko asked.

"Yeah." I replied. "I'm sure he would. He has been our friend since Honoka first met him in 2016."

~May 2016~
"So," I said. "I was thinking that since we're still having school budget problems, we give each club 90% of what they-" I look up to see Honoka asleep. I sighed.

"Umi?" Katori asked. "How long has she been asleep?"

"Who knows." I replied. Suddenly, a guy, who looked like he was in his second year of university, walked over to shake Honoka away.

"Miss?" He asked. "Is everything okay?" Honoka startled awake, then looked over at the guy.

"Sorry." Honoka said. "Just taking a cat nap. I promise I-" She looked into his eyes. Both of them just stared at each other.

"Honoka?" I asked. Nothing.

"I bet you she like this guy." Katori stated.

"Great." I grumbled. "We lost her."

"I'm Matsuura Odalis," The guy said. "I'm in my second year of business studied. And you are?"

"I'm Kosaka Honoka," Honoka stated. "A third year at Otinakizaka High. I happen to be the student body president."

"Impressive," Odalis stated. "I bet you're a pretty goal oriented girl."

"You can say she makes goals," I joked. "It is sticking to them she has a lot of trouble with. The acception is our former school idol group. We made it huge last term."

"Pretty and talented," Odalis flirted. "I bet your boyfriend is lucky to have you."

"I'm single actually." Honoka stated.

"Well," Odalis asked. "Want to go out Saturday night?" Honoka looked over at me to make sure we didn't have anything. I sighed and nodded, allowing her to go.

"Sure." Honoka stated. "Here's my number. Text me!" Honoka jotted her number on a napkin. Odalis took it and strolled off.

"He is trouble." I grumbled.

"Relax," Katori soothed. "Maybe he will turn out to be great."

~Present Day~

"Who knew I was wrong?" I messaged Katori.

"I told you." Katori beamed. I heard a bang.

"Where the fuck were you?!" Tutsuo demanded.

"I was just with-" I whimpered. Tutsuo hit me so hard, I slammed into the table. Thankfully, I didn't break it.

"You slut!" Tutsuo screamed. "You were cheating on me! You're such a fucking pig!"

"Mom?" Rio pleaded. "Mom? Are you okay? Mom? Please tell me you're okay. Please?" I looked at my daughter.

"How long was I out?" I asked. Rio hugged me.

"You were out for two hours." Rio stated. "You were sobbing in the corner. I accidentally dropped a bowl, and that startled you. Yuna cleaned it up for me so I can comfort you. I am so sorry mom. I didn't mean for it to trigger your memory." I hugged my little girl.

"No," I whimpered. "I should be the one checking in on you, not you checking in on me. I am a terrible mother."

"No you aren't," Rio stated. "Lt. Hoshizora told me what happened the night you found out you were pregnant with me. She told me you called Aunt Honoka, who told you to get your things and get out. My father was furious, demanding you get out of the bathroom you locked yourself in. Two cops came in and arrested him for all that he did to you. Lt. Hoshizora and Aunt Honoka came in to make sure you okay. That was when you told them about me. You made sure that my father didn't harm me, so you got us both out. Mom, that is the bravest thing a mother can do for her daughter. I love you." I smiled at my daughter. She reminded me of myself when I was young. Very caring. Someone has to keep an eye on Yuna. I know so.

"I love you too." I said.
