Chapter 16

Anu's POV:

I was driving to the school when Zolo asked "wait did you zone out when Spencer was taking about being bait for you?" "Yes I was thinking if it was my own plan to do what I did and not Pearl's plan I finished my mental debate as it's not my fault she manipulated me ... We're here."                 We got out of the bus and rushed into the school Zolo had texted his dad before we had left and  now he was on his way with other officers to arrest everyone involved then we saw Pearl and 7 other furs casing  a orca carrying Spencer into the gym with Pearl saying "GIVE THE UNNATURAL BACK TRAITOR!" we came to the doors which Zolo kicked open dramatically like in the movies and yelled "PEARL TELL YOUR BOYFRIEND THAT HE CAN STOP HURTING PEOPLE INCLUDING ANYONE THAT IS MY FRIEND OR FAMILY!!!!"
She stopped cold turned her head and said " Enjoy your life for now little unnatural because we will strike when you least expect it. Cover me I need to stay free." Then her minions turned on us and we started fighting I got to Spencer and advanced menacingly toward the fur standing over him and Spencer said " No he saved me from the van when we got here he is on our side... they welded a band around my ankles so I couldn't run away from them." Then the smallish orca said " I have a power but your friends need to back away." " back!" I yell and immediately every fight stops and then the orca created nets and they fell on top of all of the jocks ( they were weighted ) and pinned them there and then Tiberus crashed into Spencer sending them both to the ground and then Alex hovers his hand at the band and some green acid eats away at the band but none gets on Spencer "thanks for that rescue and I noticed a lot of furs have powers in Canada" we all laugh at that then all of the sudden Zolo's dad comes barging in the same way that Zolo did and at least 5 other officers come in behind him and go to arrest the 5 minions that had stayed Cade and Tyler had escaped with Pearl then Mr. Starglen asked " is he ok ?" "Yes" came a voice from the change room we look and a dolphin is there shaking in fear his tail curled around his leg "Tom I-i..." the orca trailed off then ran up the bleachers and started to topple backward when he was surrounded by a green glow and that same glow came from Tom's eyes as he used a telekinesis power to save the orca " I'm not scared of you Wally I'm scared of that monster jackal ... the purple one not you." he looked at me slightly embarrassed because he had just realised that I am in fact a jackal "It's ok and even I agree that she is a monster and i'm her cousin but her mom is my mom's sister and she is getting divorced because her father's side is full of crazies and my Aunt doesn't want to be apart of that... where is Zolo?" I asked that last part because Zolo had disappeared then he came into the gym and motioned me over while Spencer reassured that I am not anything like my cousin I couldn't help but feel guilty about saying that my side of the family is not crazy because I might be how I started treating Spencer when Pearl told me those things

"Anu It's not your fault." Zolo's words jarred me back into the present he had his phone out and showed me a picture of my face it looked like I was remembering something terrible that had been done to me or I had caused "you look like that when you remember Daren or what Pearl made you do. You can't blame yourself we agreed on that or go down into depression i'm still there and I need you to help me out and keep me out when I finally am free of the depression, and I am still helping you with your Trauma. right? " he has the cutest look of concern on his face that I knew that no one blamed me for attacking Spencer only I did "yes we are still helping each other and I need you here with me when the memories come knocking." "get Tiberus and Spencer I found Pearl's hard drive and... she is Daren's girlfriend I only said that to taunt her but it turns out my taunt was the truth and she was the camera person that recorded his victims." I nodded and got Tiberus and Spencer, he was still having trouble walking from the bands around his legs so the Marionette carried him and we went up to the second floor computer lab his dad was there and the animatronics that have been following us I asked Spencer "do we keep them or is it just for today? "you can keep them but they will want to visit often and they have feelings also they will help you do things but they wont do them for you." was the reply then Mr. Starglen said " You both are in a few of the videos do you think that you can watch them without reliving the trauma?" I looked at Spencer we both nodded our assent and then he told Zolo "you can play it" "I'm only going to play 2 just so you both can confirm that they are genuine and not fakes left by Pearl to mislead my dad." then he played Spencer's first

(time skip to after the videos have played)

Zolo was furiously shredding up pictures of Daren with his claws and Tiberus was squishing a Helpy plushie that Funtime Freddy had given him from his stomach compartment and I asked Spencer "they really took you 3 different ways at once?!? Why did you not fight?" he smiled sadly and said " I was with them for 4 years but they only took me after I had healed every victim they had for that period of time I and I became an empty shell, a pit of despair when at last they gave me the you are not a person speech but as you saw I was defiant " thats right he had after getting the speech and being asked by Pearl 'what are you' he had replied 'A Person' then after that they had dropped him off as bait and kidnapped me "Anu? Spencer?" it was Mr. Starglen "we need to use the videos as evidence in a court case is this fine or should we distort your face and your voice? "distort" we said together.

Holy anubis 1146 words (not including this author's note it never dose) i am on a roll sorr for the slightly late chapter. also I have changed Spencer's last name to Ashenglen and the bad company is Asperglade now and I really like seeing the support this story is getting ( I still think that it is super bad and cringey but I am still posting it so I will see you in the next chapter bu by and as always stay true to you!
