Anu's POV:

"Pearl isn't evil?!" Zolo exclaimed and I smiled knowing that Zolo just got a call from his dad and if his dad had said it my suspicions were confirmed Pearl wasn't herself she was acting under threat or undercover she wan't the Pearl I met that day 6 years ago She was my cousin who was more like my sister she was Pearl Glitwater Zolo listened to his Dad the hung up "Anu why are you smiling like that?" he asked me "Because I know my cousin and Pearl wasn't her self she was-" "acting." Tiberus finished I looked at him "I know when people are not being them selves and Pearl was acting a little too over the top and dramatic thats why I don't hate her for this well one of the reasons the other is that this is the first strong prosthetic that I have received." We just look at him and he starts to get nervous then Zolo says " Tiberus what your doctors full name so I can gather dirt on him and send him to jail?" Spencer and I both agreed that we would do the same and Tiberus looked less stressed then I noticed Pearl's car pull up and she got out then went to the side door and waited for us "She is here." I said we got out and we reached the side door and Zolo opened the door and I grabbed Pearl's paw in mine and she tensed but I held it gently and she relaxed when we reached the hotel room pearl said " is anyone squeamish?" her voice had lost that mean undertone and she sounded exactly as I remembered Tiberus replied that he was "Ok then don't look until Anu bandages my face" Tiberus turned around and Pearl removed her hood to reveal her face which was scratched up Spencer surged forwards and asked "can I heal you?" she looked nervous "Y-You would do that?" she asked Spencer nodded then she nodded and Spencer healed her "thats odd I can still sense an injury but I cant find it." Pearl looked at me and I was fidgeting Spencer noticed "Anu whats on your back?" I remove my shirt and sweater revealing my wings. "Anu you have wings!" Spencer said "yes I do..." I said waiting for the usual insults to blast forth but none came then I felt a paw gently moving one of my wings I looked behind me and Spencer was examining my wing "can you fly?" he asked then I realized that he thought my wings were cool "Y-yes." I stutter then Spencer asked me another question " Why do you hide them? they are awesome!" Pearl answered "we hide our wings because last time we revealed them we were called unnatural by others thats why I said that because I knew Daren would be tricked." then she looked at me with her paws over her mouth "It's fine he doesn't affect me as much anymore." I reassured her she nods and lowers her paws the she removes her sweater and reveals her wings which one of them has a long scratch on the pinion "did they..." I trail off and she is crying "they clipped your wings?" I ask for confirmation she shakes her head no "its just a really painful flesh wound, Anu don't worry." I nod and then I create linen bandages and I bandage her wing "no flying for you anytime soon." I said she nodded and then hugged me I missed you so much Anu!" she said I hugged her back "I missed you too." I said then she whispered "H-He took me he said it was to stay strait." I start repeating "no" while I hug Pearl I couldn't believe that monster "he used condoms every time so I'm fine Anu really." I just wrapped my wings around her she used her good wing to cover the space my wings left at the top then she used her power over faerie fire to create a purple light source. It flickered but held " I haven't used it in so long..." she murmured "Pearl..." I started but she cut me off " I'm fine Anu but are you?" She asked my face obviously said that I wasn't " Anu you kept your promise you where there for me, somehow I knew that you believed that I was acting and not evil that kept me going it would have further but Cade found out he is Daren but to the extremes of murder." I held her to my chest "You'll be safe right?" I asked she nodded then I remove my wings and she put out her faerie fire "What's that?" Asked Zolo "fire that doesn't burn." She replied "faerie fire!" Exclaimed Spencer, Pearl looked at him "I read alot of fantasy books, mostly Forgotten Realms." he said Pearl just started laughing " I haven't heard anyone know that term before." she managed to say through laughing but Spencer snickered as well and then Zolo asked her "can you help me with something I need to update most of m gang information, if your up to it I mean." he said "ok sure." she said Tiberus went of find his brother and it was just me and Spencer left in the room
