"Say, (Name), you and Gin-chan seem super close lately!" Kagura states cheerfully, shoving another bowl of curry down her throat. "Another helping, please!" the girl calls, her bowl in the air.
"H-Huh?" (Name) stumbles, processing what Kagura said. She laughs. "Kagura, I don't understand where that came from."
Kagura looks at her blankly, blinking in confusion. "Well, it's true," she states. Seeing the look of confusion (Name) holds, Kagura elaborates.
"I mean, he's going over to yours a lot more than usual! Though I guess, that's not surprising, since you have air-con. And nice futons. And good food. And a nice-sized place, and-" Kagura rambles, a sweat drop forming on (Name)'s head as she laughs.
"That's not really a sign that we're closer now," she chuckles before taking another bite of her curry.
"Hmm... How about how you're always buying him stuff?" Kagura seems to question her own words.
"You don't exactly have a lot of money to pay for your own stuff, any of you," (Name) chuckles somewhat disheartedly as she watches Kagura dig into her newest bowl the moment it arrives.
"Hence why I'm paying for you today..." She groans inwardly as Kagura finishes the bowl within seconds.
"Please, have mercy on my wallet," she mumbles, watching Kagura order yet another bowl.
"Oh!" Kagura suddenly exclaims. "I know!"
The girl points her chopsticks at (Name), who holds her hands up defensively and leans away from the potential weapon.
"If you're not getting closer to Gin-chan, then explain why he's always talking about you!" Kagura just about yells, drawing the attention of a few nearby customers who quickly lose interest again.
A small red hue spreads across (Name)'s cheeks and ears at the claim. "I- what?" She stumbles on her words, still trying to process the information.
"Ahhh," she groans in embarrassment, her hands moving to cover her face.
"Aha! See?" Kagura grins, crossing her arms triumphantly. "Right there! That's proof! You can't deny how close you are to Gin-chan!"
Head on the table in embarrassment, (Name) tries to hide her red face as she mutters desperately, "Kagura, how is that proof?" Only to receive laughter in response.
In a booth not far from the commotion, a certain silver-haired man half buries himself under the table, hiding his red cheeks with the café's menu.
"Shinpachi," he croaks, "do I really talk about her that much...?"
The young man with glasses can only smirk, taking a sip of his drink.
"Yeah, you do."
