Gintoki sits with his arms around (Name)'s waist, both perched on the couch at Odd Jobs Gin. They watch a rerun of a drama, (Name)'s head leaning back against Gintoki's shoulders and his head resting atop her own.
A comfortable silence encases them as they watch the rerun, both simply enjoying the company of the other during the show.
Gintoki glances down at her, a soft expression on his face as he tightens his grip around her ever so slightly. He plants a soft kiss on the top of her head when she doesn't respond, feeling her lean into him more and noticing her smile.
He focuses on the drama once again, feeling his stress and negativity disappear as he holds (Name).
He realises how truly at peace he feels, as if all his sorrows and struggles never existed to begin with, all because of the woman in his arms. His eyes gaze down to her once again, a smile never leaving him.
She glances at him curiously. "What's up?"
He simply gazes into her eyes before leaving a small kiss on her forehead. "Nothing. Just thinking about you," he whispers, shifting so they can sit in a more comfortable position.
(Name) laughs. "Be quiet, you. This is an important part," she looks away from him and back to the TV, a small red hue dusting her cheeks.
Gintoki drags his eyes away from her and back to the TV, still smiling. He squeezes her waist slightly, the smile never leaving his lips.
